they should have a nade launcher underneath i think even in the intelligence report the vanillas rifle has one. or at least you can clearly see a spot where one would go

2nd time looking at that it looks more like a light SAW than a rifle. actually you could use that as a new infantry type for both a 2-4 man squad with squad automatic weapons. just have them do like the snipers did they have to "deploy" to be able to fire or they can fire standing up but deploying does well pretty much the same as it does in every other mod that has deploying for infantry

The only thing on that Gun that even looks like a SAW is the Barrel... If Even that...

im thinking the barrel and the magazine. its more a cross of a heavy assault rifle and light machine gun

The SAW is wider then the Shown weapon. If anything GDI Soldiers would Carry Assault Rifles and Maybe one Soldier would have a Squad Light Machine gun.

And if I Remember Correctly Helge Might Disable Squads so It would be One soldier per Click

I think the Nod basic soldier should be based on this concept art, the soldier on the right side of this picture, the lighter one, not the insectoid-looking one:

Cnc-source.com this fits more for the Nod style I have in mind.

On second thought, I think it fits more as a black hand elite, it looks less grunt-like.

Examples of the Black Hand:

thats awesome almost looks kinda like a pseudo powersuit. stuff to help the soldier a little. maybe a little stronger. not that it actually will be that way but it could

ähmm....by the way...can nobody see, that the position of the legs is wrong ?
When the right shoulder turn backwards, the right leg must also move backwards ! Welt.de
If the soldier is standing in this position, he must hold the weapon in front of it's chest. Welt.de

Allright, next time I'll not go through the hassle of posing the model, and just post a base-pose render.
