Here is the last new loading screen by Cedric37.
With this, we now have loading screens representing every major and some minor combatants during the war.
So question, how does one play as the USA?
They are only available in custom battles.
IIRC I once liberated Holland in a Long World Domination Campaign and the US appeared, replacing Holland's Flag and Units
We changed that in the update for a few reasons.
