Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

Looks interesting.
Are players supposed to attack the VHM with aircraft to then chinook transport an MCV to the center and build a refinery there? Sounds like a lot of work to achieve that.

Seems DTA could use some destroyable cliffs, but not with a single shot like TS, rather with lots of hitpoints. Like a dummy building with Selectable=false that looks like a stretch of cliffs.

Like some high hit-point barriers that Twisted Insurrection uses on some of their maps.

Up to version 1.08 all cliffs in DTA were buildigns, which had the side-effect that they'd flash when you'd force-fire at them and they'd turn invisible when you picked up a stealth create next to them. So I'd rather not go back to that if possible 😅

An overlay could be done too. It would even allow multiple damage stages, like a cliff slowly crumbling away.

That's one way to do it, and with all those gems the effort is well worth it.

You can also base-crawl up there and clear a little spot of tiberium to get space for a refinery

Or you could manually fly your harvesters back and forth for some gems for a quick eco-boost
