They look great, really good job. I've never really been a fan of the desert camo in BM though, it's true that the location is the New Mexico desert but most of the facility is located indoors which is why I think the Urban camo always works much better.

Also I might be wrong but the digital camo on the pants is a little too big? Maybe there is a camo design like this, I'm no expert.

But all the same, really nice work!

yes you do have a point modern USMC MARPAT digital camo pasterns & shapes are about 1/100th the size of the ones shown here. For realism they are way too big. But other than that it still looks cool for a WIP.

These are some great-looking grunts! Even i'm not a big fan of SD, i think it's nice!

By the way, i think you should make a urban alternate for indoors, and and a camo for the outside parts, maybe some submodels would do the job.

@D3ads: I am considering switching to a more urban colour scheme much like the originals but I will keep the digi camo. Your right about the fatigues though, the pixel pattern is far too big now that I look at it.

@IngSoc: That's not a bad idea. I wouldn't bother with sub-models though seeing as that would probably need coding. Seeing as I'm using the Spirit engine I may just use different models entirely so I can use different head variations and such.

Description

Just a couple of model updates to keep you going while other stuff is being done behind the scenes.

Urby Morris was a security guard model I made a while back which can be seen in the cut content image released earlier. Now he's been given the SD treatment and made into a scientist. Whoo.

The grunt has been re-textured because I didn't like the older version. While I think they do let better with desert camo, the original reskin was just too orange. I think this version looks much better. The splash of dark green on the armor and helmet gives it a little variation and the digi/pixel camo pattern just looks awesome in my opinion. :D

(Note: The models pictured here are outdated and will not appear in the core.)
