Half-Life: The Core is a classic retelling of the events surrounding the Resonance Cascade disaster from a new perspective. Featuring intense action, complex puzzles and believable narrative through all-new locations in Black Mesa with remarkable visual fidelity, pacing and humour.
Sorry that there hasn't been a major media release as of yet. I'm letting the odd image trickle through every now and again but I am aiming for a major media update by the end of August.
Meet the HECU Strike Team. With the military clean up operation not going according to plan and the Black Operative forces tightening their grip on the facility, the HECU have mobilized a deep strike unit. These teams are under orders to push deep into the facility and close off any and every route to the surface in order to aid the government cover up and to isolate key targets within the confines of the central complex.
These enemies are almost always encountered in large squads comprising of the following:
1 Commander (M16 + M203 Grenade Launcher)
2-3 Riflemen (M16)
1 Grenadier (M16 + M203)
1-2 Engineers (Shotgun + Hand Grenades)
Due to the units destructive objectives, they will often be encountered shortly after, or during heavy demolition work, meaning that the player will also need to be on the lookout for environmental hazards.
This coupled with their vast numbers, will hopefully mean a challenging and intense firefight each time, even on the easiest difficulty setting. :)
Are my eyes? or hes gun is huge?
Your eyes are just having problems contemplating the awesomeness.
@Raider7 LOL. Thanks mate.
@GORDENFRECHMEN Yeah, don't worry about it. It's just perspective due to the angle the shot was taken.
