Tactical Fleet Simulator (TFS) is a total overhaul with the aim of transforming Homeworld2 into a tactics-oriented strategy game. Initial versions aimed for a more immersive tactical "simulator" orientation, the current version provides a more refined and consistent RTS experience.
The CHK-76 Heavy Cruiser is produced by the LiirHra, a Kiith specializing in starship and weapon systems technology. It sits between Light Cruisers (CL) and Battlecruisers (BL) in the ship roster.
Whereas light cruisers rely on long-range weapons and have little more armor than destroyers, heavy cruisers are designed with heavy armor and medium-to-close range turreted weapons to outlast other capital ships and frigates in a slugfest. A fully upgraded heavy cruiser is comparable in durability to a stock battlecruiser and can target multiple ships simultaneously with its turret arrays.
