The following is a very compressed list of features, there are plenty more. Make sure to check the README file.
Gear: Almost every weapon has at least one configuration to choose from; attachments such as aimpoints, suppressors and shortened barrels are available to the player. Some new weapons have been added to the arsenal. Helmets have recieved multiple configurations to fit different roles and situations, gas masks, night vision goggles, glasses, tactical goggles and ballistic visors are available to the player. Different styles of character models have been added to allow for a greater customization.
Gameplay improvements: Back To Los Angeles offers a more faster paced and tough experience, akin to SWAT 3. Movement speed has been improved to allow faster room clearances. Score system has been revamped to bring a more authentic feel to the overall gameplay, this means that the use of Force is less penalized when it's needed; some penalties have been removed to make the overall score system less frustrating. The total amount of weight that you can carry has been reduced; adittionally, weapons and gear now use realistic weight and bulk values to make gear choices more important and to make the player think twice about what to carry. One-in-chamber Mechanix has been added; when you perform a tactical reload, your gun will benefit from the round already in the chamber, it will be displayed with a +1 on the HUD.
Sound effects: Gun shots, explosions, footsteps, foley... It has been completely revamped in Back To Los Angeles. Back To Los Angeles features a vast selection of high quality sounds that have been carefully picked up to make sure that the whole experience feels more authentic.

- Stuttering and weight bugs in MP: removed old SEF system in change of a new simplified system with better net performances.
- Threat cooldown is now 5 seconds instead of 3, in an attempt to reduce the amount of injust penalties. This applies to suspects that flee too.
- NVG's can be used alongside flashlights (U key default for NVG's, V for flashlights, can be changed in-game)
- Added "drive-stun" melee mode for Taser M26
- Complete rework of the campaing for a new and fresh experience (gear doesn't need to be unlocked anymore).
- New "clean" voicelines for Multiplayer from SWAT 4 Beta (custom voicelines on .tk servers added aswell)
- Complete rework of weapon handling (Aim errors, Aim recovery rates, recoil, equipping speeds). This is done while taking multiple considerations: Weapon lenght, weapon weight, type of weapon.
- Complete rework of damage and ballistics values, guns are much more dangerous now and the health system feels much more realistic, armor plays a big role now too.
- Revised various enemy archetypes
- Reworked Suspects reaction times for a much tougher experience as well as morale effects on suspects and hostages, officer reaction times have been adjusted too and now they are more agressive.

- Shotgun breaching automatically opens the door (Vanilla behaviour)
- Reverted hand position to vanilla
- Lockpicking now takes 5 seconds but works alongside bulk so it isn't as fast as it seems.

Can the characters on their backs be changed to white?
yes, is a simple texture edit
Movement is quite faster than vanilla or SEF which results in sliding character animation when going sideways or backways.
Forward speed is the same as vanilla, sidestep and backstep speed are increased a bit in order to
make movement more dynamic.
this mod doesnt remove any of the gamemodes from vanilla right? like the pvp ones
yes, it does. since this mod is based on SEF, you can only play coop.
Could you add the ability to use coop skin in single player?

Any clue on why weapons are not accurate at all? I'm standing still and aiming down sights with the M4 but the bullets still rarely go to where I am aiming at
