The mod I am going to try to create will be a total conversion of the Super Nintendo game Super Metroid. This was one of my fav games in the past, and to this day. I have played many of the released Super Metroid games that have been produced for the Gamecube, however i do not believe that they match the orginal in both level design gameplay.
Some basic points about this modification:
- The conversion will re-produce all the orginal levels of Super-Metroid and also add new content and levels.
- It will be possible to play singleplayer, multiplayer and co-op.
- All weapons and their abilities will be included
- Mod will be in first person

Man, People are full of ****. Nintendo on multiple occasions said that fan-games are usually ok by them. I've seen Nintendo Game Based Mods go by without a hitch before, even ones that Nintendo are aware of.
Whoever is making this mod, if you get a "Cease and Desist" Letter in your E-Mail, it's a fake. Nintendo will only send a Cease and Desist Letter via Physical Snail-Mail.
I've seen Mods be shut down not because Nintendo forced them to, but because the leader has fell for a fake "Cease and Desist" Letter that was sent via email, thus making the author voluntarily shut it down in fear of getting sued.
