Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
All right Star Wars fans. You've got less than 24 hours left to vote for Interregnum for mod of the year. I think I've been pretty generous so far. I've given you an action packed screenshot every day for the last week. I've offered to bribe you with extra information and improvements to the mod. And above all, I think I've given you a pretty stellar mod to play, even in its early stages. But if for some reason you still needed convincing, here is one last piece of evidence. A full battle sequence between the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire. Who will win in the heated battle over Reytha?
So please, vote Interregnum for mod of the year, and share with your friends too!
OH man you just now posted this.... still processing:P
You'd think they'd wait until it was ready to notify you guys! Sorry about that, hopefully moddb won't take too long.
I am gunna guess that the mon-calmari ships have high shield or health but less weaponry than the imperials ships?
Mhm, F5'ing quite a bit.
How do I make ships behave like that?
do I have to control them individually or theres something more?
when I play they usually just pile up together
If you have them focus fire on one ship they tend to do that. For videos I tend to order my ships to attack 5 or 6 different targets before the battle starts to that they get nice and spread out like this. Since I knew I was uploading this I then ordered a few ships around to fill in gaps and make it look nicer before recording, but just to avoid the pile up effect that's not necessary.
beautiful, just beautiful :)
In the video, I see that you were able to build the Executor-class S-DN, however I was not able to. After making sure I had all the appropriate research, enough resources, and sufficient command and fleet supply. Help is appreciated, thanks!
Are you sure you researched the tech after the four normal titan research techs? The one that requires six military labs to research.
If so, did you happen to already build the Bellator Star Dreadnaught? You can only build one titan by normal means. If you already have a titan of any kind, the game will not let you build another one (this is a game engine restriction, I cannot change this behavior). Once your Bellator is destroyed or scuttled you should be able to build an Executor. The only way to have a Bellator and an Executor at the same time is to find and capture the Kuat Random Encounter planet. It will allow you to purchase extra Executor titans, which are created by ability and thus bypass the titan limit.
Ahh, I forgot the tech after the titan research. Thanks!
Very nice at least I did vote for your mod. Just because it's a very nice mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.
Who won??
Beautiful!
I hope this wins.
This is amazing, but is the Executor scaled to the ISDs properly? It seems small to me? Sorry, your mod is fantastic, just wanted to know :)
Well, that depends. You see, the Executor has had over four different canon lengths over the years (in the "Legends" canon). If I'm remembering this all correctly, it started out as 5km, then 8km, then 12.8km, then finally 19km. Our mod is using the 12.8km figure because 19km is so incredibly large we would have to shrink all the ships to keep it to scale, because if the Executor was any bigger it would crash into planets if it tried to turn. :p
So we chose to shrink the outlier to a smaller but still somewhat credible figure rather than adjusting everything else in the game. Also I believe Empire at War also used the 12.8km Executor (though that may have been canon at the time).
