Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
An Interregnum update will be coming out this month. Mostly it fixes some bugs, but there will be some surprising new content as well, including a rather big feature from Solo: A Star Wars Story. What could it be?
Ehh, I've been pretty disappointed with what disney has been doing with the franchise, and would prefer their stuff stays out of it.
The vehicles and some of the weapons haven't been too egregiously unStar Wars. Just their characters and story I'm not much of a fan of. (then again, I haven't seen the last two movies in theatres soooooo)
I usually avoid taking a stance on controversies on the internet, but you should see Solo. It's a good one.
It's a good movie if you discount the retconning of like every single major plot point

Solo. Kessel is no longer an asteroid, Coaxium exists, Han helping to free Wookiees from Kashyyyk (they sort of included this with Han giving Chewie the shock spear) etc etc

Corpus: technically, it's not really retconning since Disney did away with the Legends continuity right from the start, no? And to be fair, there were even a few nods in Solo to Han's legends background, most notably [MINOR SPOILER] his service with the Empire [/MINOR SPOILER]
The "A Star Wars Story" movies have been alright at least. They've introduced some nice things too.
Overall I'm definitely more of a legends fan but I look forward to this surprise.
This is definitely a Legends inspired mod, but if some new material fills in some gaps we may borrow some ideas from it.
Rogue One and Solo are good movies imo, the problem is the main continuity.
I'm for a hybrid. Taking the the ships from Disney and combining it with the ships and story of legends.

Can we expect Rebel One as a capital ship - maybe as a unique ship that can only be built once?
