Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. This is the Proficienct Class cruiser for the New Republic fleet.
This particular mesh is often called the Corellian Destroyer but it fits the size and general design requirements for the otherwise vaguely described Proficient class. The mesh is originally done by EvilJedi, although this particular instance of it was source from the Rise of the Mandalorians mod for Empire at War. Additional turret geometry was sourced from Jeroenimo's Empire at War: Remake mod. The UVs and textures are all new.
I love the consistent philosophy of design with the New Republic ships.
The white hulls with the player chosen color really distinguish these from the Rebel Alliance ships.

It's a cruiser. It's on the larger end but based on discussion with Goa I don't think it's going to be the heavy warship type necessarily. More of a specialist.
Siege/arty cruiser? Those hatches kinda look like missile launch tubes...
Not as beefy as the Champion, but not something you want to tangle with either.

Great model, includes many parts of other ships such like Corellian corvette (CR90), Republic cruiser (no idea of the class name) and Pelta class transport ship. I even spot a part of an Ancient ship from Stargate (cruiser or battleship). :D

Isn't this actually a pre-Clone Wars design? I may be wrong, not that well versed on the "Corellian Destroyer"... Love the design though. The engines suggest pre-Clone Wars, like the Consular Cruiser/Arquitens.
It's a fanon design from Evillejedi. Many mods have used it for different things. In this case the Proficient has no official art, but it is Corellian so we felt that this was the best looking option that fit what we know.
I loved this mesh in the other star wars mods. makes for a cool heavy cruiser or light/specialist.
