Looks good. To bad about the turret mounts though. Is it not possible to use a scaled down version here as well?

Unfortunately making them smaller does not improve memory usage. We have to remove detail from somewhere for that.

Yeah, turret animation takes up a lot of space in memory. I think that may be why the Empire at War Remake mod for for Forces of Corruption keeps crashing whenever a dreadnought spawns in a battle. Undoubtedly the fact that SoaSE did not animate turrets on ships, and merely placed them in the mesh, is why it works better.

Description

This is the new re-textured Bellator class. As many probably noted, we replaced the Bellator mesh and textures last update by using a model by Jeroenimo from Empire at War: Remake. While it looked pretty good in-game, the texture set it was using was rather large and used up a lot of limited memory space. This version drops the larger turret mounts (which we couldn't use due to vert limits) and uses a texture half the size of the old one. I think it also offers slightly higher texel density as well while it's at it.
