Good angle on this shot, gives a good sense of scale and firepower.

It's easy to forget how mind-numbingly large Executors are until you go to take a screenshot of one.

Then you remember they should be almost 50% larger in canon. :-o Our Executor are scaled to the previously canon 12.8km instead of the current 19km because would be too large to move. :p

I thought they were always 19km?

Hehe, absolutely not. I still remember reading Darksaber which said the Night Hammer, like the Executor, was 5 miles (8km) long. :p

I also have a source book (New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels) that came out around Episode II that give the 12.8km number, which was also used by Empire at War. So it is quite possible the Executor has never been shown at its 19km scale in a Star Wars game before (maybe Battlefront now).

So by elimination I'd say the 19km number wasn't official until the mid/late 2000s. Home One also has a pretty big size debate, where like the Executor its canon size numbers didn't (and still don't) match the film.

Description

Alliance forces of General Wedge Antilles' Fleet Group Lusankya, which includes the Executor-Class Dreadnoughts Lusankya and Organa as well as Star Cruisers Mon Remonda, Champion, and Mon Karren and numerous support cruisers, engage the defenders of Anaxes under the command of Admiral Piett on the Allegiance. Anaxes is an important launching point in the Rebel Fleet's bid for Coruscant.

*This, folks, is why you don't let the rebels capture Kuat*
