Yeah, what a great battle that was, Lost the Meteor though. And I wasn't able to finish it because for some reason the game crashed. Was using LAA as I am supposed to, so I don't know why I minidumped. The game never crashed before, even with all 10 AI on The Galaxy far, far away map. Wonder if 1.83 had something to do with it.
i have the same issue from time to time you would think the devs would have fixed the game up so it can work better for those who have more than 2 gigs
Unfortunately, the RAM limit is something that is well out of our capabilities to fix. Sins is hardcoded at 2gb by Stardock/Ironclad, and the only solution any of us mod devs have to that is the LAA
It's too bad they didn't amend this in the 1.83 update.
The only way to really fix it is to remake the game Engine is to rewrite it as a 64 bit application. Ironclad/Stardock have said the amount of work required is sufficiently large that it would be better to just make a sequel. :p

Borg, Flood, Zerg, Replicators. To name a few, or perhaps some combination of the four. Who knows.
