Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. TEC forces, lead by the Sova class carrier Kestrel, were challenged by the Tector class star destroyer Terror upon arrival in orbit of Muunilinst. In the skirmish that ensued. the star destroyer and all but one of its escorts, a Gladiator class escort destroyer, which was captured, were destroyed. The fleet then went on to take control of the galaxy's bank planet.
Sudden Human Trader State attacks however forced Kestrels fleet to relocate in order to counter the assault of the traitors, leaving the planet largely undefended. But construction crews promise they can fortify the plant on their own while the fleet is away.
One destroyed, 9999 to go XD
Standing firm and unwilling to back down even against overwhelming odds, the Star Destroyer and it's escorts fought with honor and glory to the last breath, protecting Muunilinst and it's citizens from those who would see it consumed by the flames of war.
When I showed up the Terror and an Acclimator were firing on the planet. So that last bit isn't quite true.
Rebel propaganda!
Rebel is a subjective term. To us in the TEC. The Human Trader State are the rebels. But no. these so called peaceful ships were in fact firing on a neutral world, And then had the audacity to attack my ships when we only came to investigate the distress call.
There now exists a state of war between the TEC and the Galactic. We will take steps to insure the pitiful terrorist government will never threaten Trader lives again.
