This is a Submod for the Star Wars- Clone Wars mod for Star Wars: Empire at War Forces of Corruption. It's based off of the 2003-2004 Miniseries and will feature content that is unavailable in the original mod. The developers of the Star Wars- Clone Wars Mod wish to focus more on the current Clone Wars series so, they have commissioned this submod as a side project. This mod's goal is to appeal to fans who grew up whatching the miniseries and provide a sense of nostalgia to those fans.

will it be powerful like the one we see in Revenge of the Sith
well in ROTS you only see these guys in the background on utapau, if you mean will they be powerful like the larger tri- dorids in the clone wars movie, no they will not be. the octuptarra is a smaller, lighter varient of the massive tri droid you see in the clne wars movie.
well I must really say, I don't like the stretched design it has in this show. In the films it looks way better in my opinion. Good job on the model, nevertheless.
uuuuuuummm one problem they didnt look like this in the original clone wars show, they were much more proportioned. this model was made for the main mod as the regular tri droid as seen in the battle of christophis in the movie i just scaled it down and had THE_DARKER_SIDE make a Octuptarra skin for it. this is how they looked in the cartoon: Starwars.wikia.com
and like i said its a WIP (work in progress) im gonna have Mandobardanjusic edit the animation cuzz, well frankly they suck and im gonna have him fix the legs too. i just thought you guy's would like to it so far.

It's very good in my opinion. I donÄt understand why your not satisfied with it.
this is a screenshot of the idle animation, the walking animations are much worse. see how the legs are kinda more bent like they are in yours and my pictures? the need to be like that but on the model theyr more spread out.
now im not critiszing mandobardenjusik hes a hell of a modeler but he needs to work onhis animating skills.

sorry to dissapoint you, however we may need an extra CIS unit to balance things out later on as the mod nears completeion. i'll keep your suggestion in mind ;)
