From the makers of Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War, Ascendancy is a Star Wars mod set after the Battle of Endor in the Star Wars Galaxy. Fight for galactic ascendancy as multiple factions from this period in Star Wars history.
Earlier, we showed a picture of the Deep Core scenariom which was small but still accurate. This is a picture from the "Unified Front" 9 player map with 128 planets. Essentially, it has all of the planets from Imperial Civil War not in the Unknown Regions (which will be featured in other maps). This particular screenshot is from the northern third or so of the map, which should look familiar to ICW players. Every planet in the maps is essentially as close to canon positioning as source materials and my desire to retain what's left of my sanity allow.
Keep in mind, the top only looks squished because of the camera angle; that cluster is decently far out.
Also, we've got a new thread on our forums which lists all the abilities for ships currently ingame, so if you wanna see that, click this link:

Looks great! Really like this design compared to the vanilla since it's nice and sleek
That looks amazing!
Hmm Corey will this map have a mode with "histoic" starting positions?
Eventually we want to do maps with pre-set starting positions, however that'll be after the beta release.
Great work! Just before you change your name to Darth Insanity let me ask one question. What are these circles and arrows between the planets?
I'd guess the circles are scout ships and those "arrows" are fleets.
Yeah, they're the ship markers. Considering that 90% of Imperial ships are the same shape, we went a slightly different direction. You get a top down view of half the ship, and on the other half you get role indicators which will be documented.
The circles (really more like beveled squares) are the placeholders for the frigates. We only have the markers for the capitals and cruisers done currently, so we needed something to see where our frigates were. That won't be used for anything in the release.
Noice! waiting for this mod so proudly, i hope its a nice Christmas present :)
I'm so ready for this... Great work!
"as close to canon positioning as source materials and my desire to retain what's left of my sanity allow."
You should have let me do it from my XY co-ordinates then! I seem to have a high tolerance for repetitive number-based tasks. :P
A point to note is that the flags above the planets indicate the planet type as well. We are still working on the other planet indicators.
that a new map thing cool cool
I'm curious whats ICW?
