Besides showing off some WIP designs of NPCs with animal pelts this image is also a preview of the kind of NPC diversity that Armory Mod brings to MISERY 2.0

MISERY is designed for FIRST PERSON only.
This meaning that you will not be able to see your attached mutant skin on your character from third person perspective. This would be a lot of work while third person is not our focus.

I love this reveal (even though I didn't get my prized wallpaper). You and the team have done an awesome job. Did you fix the 3rd person helmet "bug"? I was playing with Misery/Complete and it was cool seeing the helmet in 3rd P.

Don't be surprised about that, there's even wulfes in the real zone. Over 300 of them, actually.

I appreciate the screenshots, but I'm more than a little concerned with the level of firepower on that bandit. I hope it's not an indicator of typical bandit weaponry.

I amazed how you guys misunderstood N.Aaroe. What he ment was that in next 34 hours he will inform us if this mod will be released until end of June or delayed. I doesn't mean that it will be uploaded in 34 hours.

Let me guess, it's going to take 34 hours because you need time to spruce up another pretty picture?
Christ man, why?

I'm almost 100% positive its an real image with gun put in. GSC mad sure to get the feel of geniuine zone, to the point where we can mistake real life photos with ingame screencaps, which is even mor noticible with Misery graphics overhaul.

*screams head off and jumps off the roof* ITS HEREEE!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and i was wondering, will there be anything like scrapping weapons and such you find in the zone for maybe cheaper repairs or something? Kinda like in sgm mod where you can scrap guns for parts that help reduce the price of repairing and modding weapons.

It's going to be stitched to his coat so removing it would require some cutting.

Huh, sounds interesting. I wonder how these attachments behave - do they degrade separately from the suit? Can they be swapped out for other hides? I assume different hides will have different advantages/disadvantages?

Sounds like a cool feature.

N.Aaroe Author
N.Aaroe - - 2,709 comments

Each hide has a unique level of protection.
By applying a skin/hide/pelt to your armor it will slow down the pace of your armor degration. And yes, you can swap between hides as much as you want

Removing a pelt from an armor requires "some" cutting or we can do it freely? will there be like chance of failure to recover an attachment?

sounds intresting, and makes sense :D so mutant hides wont be as protective as kevlar plates but will they be heavier as well? if not than this is a convinience to the recon too :)

gotta love the diversity you guys offer and thx for the efforts :D

I was hoping for something a little bit better, I'm a little dissapointed. Especially since that shotgun has nothing to do with armor.

Will there ever be any variant of the '34 that can use an attachable scope? Fully upgraded it has hella accuracy using slugs.

"for the purposes of hunting camouflage"

So we'll be able to use armour with hides on them to better camo ourselves when hunting, reducing maybe mutants' alert range?

Not required as the shotgun is more of a precision close-range firearm then a budget sniper rifle. Adding a scope like the ACOG would only hinder it's use. Since the reloading takes time, the ammo count is only one pair the TOZ-34 with sight upgrades would be waste of money IMHO.

Well, to be fair, Having a simple scope would be really nice option for a Tricked out TOZ, You can get pretty dammed good using slugs but with Irons, their is always a bit more human Error than with a scope

@Reborn:X

First of all, darts. Darts will **** anything up.

Second, there is a rifling mod for the TOZ-34 that allows for a much greater increase in accuracy, with the cost of not being able to use shotshell. The upgrade is somewhere like +50% accuracy.

Lastly, there was a mod, not sure which one it is, that allows the player to mount a PSO-1 scope onto the TOZ-34. Up until you get a highly-accurate AR or sniper rifle, the rifled TOZ is the most accurate, high powered rifle for a good duration of the game.

I´m hoping for the tactical version of the M4, with the scope! .... if I find it! ;) Guess the common, well known hiding places shurely were changed... :D

Nice! But I hope the mod makes the zone a little more livelier with more spawns and so on. Having all these features would be a waste with an empty map.

Seriously though, I had no idea this mod was bringing so much to the table.
