Wait, I'm not sure how this is related to the USS classes. Do you get to choose a profession or is that just for NPCs?
On a related note, will the USS classes each have their own config file? In case I have to modify the classes to my liking.

The answer to that is in the image.
Please pay attention to the NPCs inventory if possible. Hunting animals everyday and looting might easyly overload them. Maybe you already took care of that, but I wanted to make sure I do not cross an NPC with a 300 kg bag.
NPCs have almost infinite carrying load capacity, because of their enormous carry limit and the fact that they die before they can collect a serious weight (it would still take forever if they didn't).
I'm amazed he can hunt anything with those cataracts!

Will npcs loot everything? Like for example, if I kill a bandit, a passing stalker might loot the corpse? This was so, so annoying in AMK, I had to loot while shooting because my allies grab every single item like a damn vacuum. It was pretty common to kill a loner with 20 assault rifles, 50 pistols, and a lot of useless items.
Bandits in Yanov had this problem too. I don't want to kill a bandit in Misery 2.0 and become relatively rich from selling 30 guns XD
Dont worry guys. Excess weapons and other stuff that would stockpile enormously are cleared via script on npc death. Counts which are allowed to stay are set quite precisely per each such item.
As to ppl looting before you - bodies are detected via normal vision not radar, so its not like ppl will start auto-running towards any fresh corpse in x radius. On the other hand its good when sometimes they do come to the corpse from afar, as it allows some skirmishes to 'escalate' in fun, random way.
Nice. So now I can set traps with dead bodies :) So pity I cant place mines by myself :P
They (Misery NPC) generally only loot after combat and not during combat.
I really missed this part of the game, in SoC I remember hunting mutants to sell their parts to scientists and getting missions from barman to bring flesh eye to cook dinner haha!

He probably found the wish granter and told it he wished the zone would disappear...

So can you leave an unlooted corpse as a trap for other NPCs?
You could do that beforehand, especially from greater distances.
All of these new AI changes are going to be awesome!

Thinking about that one question arose:
How will NPCs behave towards "related" corpses? If a patrol finds a dead guard, will they loot, or will they be alerted. They cannot attack you if they find the corpse ten minutes later, so what will they do?

Well i heard we won't be-able to get stalker to follow the actor, then i guess i'll follow them. I shall tag along with those hunting party whenever they want me or not. Who want to say no to extra gun anyway. The zone is dangerous place after all. I'll get to feel like i'm part of the zone, hunting with the hunter.
Don't tell me hunters will wear fudd camo, I would be saddened if they did
Who in the right mind would want to cook and eat Bloodsucker, or Burer meat? You might as well gun down a fellow Stalker and start chowing down.
Also this is one of the worse photoshops I've seen Nic, I know you love to do it constantly, but I thought by now you'd be better at it eh?

Anyway - imho as long as meat of bloodsuckers, snorks and burers is edible, I dont really think that many ppl struggling to survive and earn the profit within the Zone would have too much moral restraints from eating it. Still we have enhanced the descriptions of these food types to notify that its not exacly the same thing, as eating your everage piggy bacon. Just check the text on this screen:

As to the quality of Nic's art - its of course a matter of personal taste and I personally find the face of this 'hunter' jaw-dropping. But thats propably just me :)
The contrast between the Hunter and the background is really noticeable, but whatever.
I guess I can't point anything out without getting downvoted huh?

Love the fact that you will finally be able to hunt and scavenge proberly in this game, cant wait to kick up my boot near the campfire after a good hunt in the zone and enjoy the mutant feast while watching the sunset :)
