MISERY 2.0 has delicate updates to a-life environment.
Props that are added here and there to make the Zone feel more alive and give new reason for an exploration with your eyes open wide.
Like this boar roast here, worthy of a mentioning.
This 'environmental prop' has been added not only for a breath of fresh air to a-life for the experienced players. But you are actually able to cut your own boar meat off from it.
Experienced CoP players will notice that we did add other environmental props like this although somewhat smaller in size. Not whole camp sites or abandoned vehicles but simple and small items that could easily be overlooked if you sprint through the game. Several of them are even somewhat interactive and may prove beneficial for your Zone agenda.
So pay attention to your surroundings and adapt to the true essence of a Stalker Zone survival.
And did we mention that most light bulps can now be destroyed with gun shots?
The breakable lights reminds me Metro 2033. I think I'm going to play a new branded STALKER game, when this mod will be out. This is so huge. Keep it up!

It is so damn useful when the AI reacts to there being no lights....and then there's your 2nd-tier nightvison and your trusty AS VAL.

after seeing so much awesome. TZ needs to be with Vostok Games :) if Vostok ever decides to pick back up on Stalker 2 or something. heck even Survarium... you guys should seriously consider teaming up :D just so much awesome!
i have recently reinstalled Stalker fresh and not touching it til release :) ok... that sounded quite awkward... anywho glad to see a glimpse into the future :P thanks TZ and GL with everything ;)

I agree, the TZ team has more skill then a lot of AAA and indie devs I have seen. If they wanted they could go far.

Breaking lamps, will they gonna be fixed after 24h or after traveling ? or if you break them they will be gone completely ?

It's ingame, but done with a camera hack. No 1st person bodies in stalker, I'm afraid :/
Each update makes Misery seem like a full, new game, instead of a fleshed out total conversion mod. Keep up the phenominal work.
Good news, thanks. As it's been quite a while since I last played CoP I really can't remember about breakable lights, weren't lights breakable already?
Just wondering cause lately I've been playing CS and it has breakable lights, hasn't it. Or did you just make all lights breakable?

Lights were breakable, but with explosives only and we're talking about hanging lights (vanilla) whilst in MISERY, every kind of light is destructible with bullets and or explosives :)
So, when you're fighting in a hallway without nightvision and an enemy chuck a nade your way and blows the light, you're in for a fun ride! And this is only 1 of the many encounters I had to deal with testing this nifty little mod out!
I assume shooting out a light source is permanent so the next time you return to a location it'll be dark?

I just wondering if destroyed lamps will really help with the sneaking at all, because NPCs ears are trully unbelievable in the main game.

With all these extras you're adding into this is increasing my anxious await for this release, however, the greatest fear I face is the dreaded annoying issue of the X-Ray Engine Crash I would have to deal with after installing this.

and about the standing bar in Yanov Station?
Will I be able to throw a rock or something at lightbulbs to break them without giving away my presence (using the logic that in the Zone, power surges might be a common thing, and bulbs break on their own all the time)?
