Anomaly is a standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod powered by an x64 version of the X-Ray engine. Starting with version 1.5.0 Anomaly uses a custom engine build called the XRay-Monolith engine. After almost one year of development of the Anomaly 1.5.0 update, the mod continues its way on expanding and adding new features while maintaining a high level of quality and replay value.
This JSRS Port completely overhauls all the gunshot sounds with new assets. New Distant Sounds. New stereo first person sounds. 8 layers of audio for each weapon. Variable sounds for each guns for more variety. New Explosion Sounds.

Overhauled Suppressed Sounds across the board (louder cracks, more bass, fixed sounds)
Overhauled Suppressed Sounds for weapons that require modification to install suppressors
-The Engine does not allow these to use actor sounds as normal weapons do, so I had to make a new set of sounds that are not in stereo for these upgraded weapons. Previously they used the same sounds as the distant weapons that you hear when other stalkers shoot.
Greatly increased volume of sniper rifles
Increased volume of non suppressed rifles
Increased bass levels for most sounds.
Changed .45 ACP Sounds
Changed AR-15 sounds
Included new tracers overhaul patch. (Will overwrite Cracks and Impact sounds)

Unique sounds for all Pistols
Unique sounds for all SMGs
Unique sounds for all Shotguns
Adjust audible distance for most weapons.
