Custom armor intended to be used only for main character. Armor has custom idle animation attached so your character stands straight in 3rd person. - Requires Anomaly HD Models mod.

Adds a new custom Nosorog armor for the player, this mod requires the Anomaly HD Models mod to be installed first.
- This is mostly a cheat mod as you will see the armor as starting gear in the character creation screen.
- Even more cheaty as sprint is on by default and can be upgraded to max artifact slots.
- The armor is factionless so it's usable for all.
- Not sold by traders.
- Not found equipped by other stalkers
Edit the stats as you'd like to make it less cheaty if you know how.
Comes in 3 model variants:
Variant 1
Variant 2
Variant 3(Light)
Installation:
1. Extract the contents of the 'Main File' folder to your Anomaly install.
2. Choose the model variant you want to use and extract, overwrite 'Yes' if asked.
3. Extract the contents of the 'Black Jacket - Optional' folder and overwrite if you don't like the default camo.
Custom 3rd person idle animations included but is only visible in this armor's model, your character will now stand straight in 3rd person.
You need to know how to use OGF viewer to give the custom idle animations to other armors. (You can also use AREA's stalker_animation.omf file for nicer 3rd person anims, doesn't cause any issues but there are a few wonky animations)
Nice exo. Hey! It turns out if I connect hero_nosorog_anims from the archive to my models, will the animation be smoother?
It's quite complicated, the anims are based on a never released CoC anims pack and it only affects player standing idles so far.
When I ported AREA's anim file, it was the perfect combo.
Unfortunately when both the default stalker_animations.omf and hero_nosorog_anims.omf are in the motion refs, the custom anims get overriden back to the default gremlin slouch idle so I had to remove stalker_animation.omf in the ogf file. It resulted in the not slouching idle anim but it had the running and sprinting anims from AREA.
Removing stalker_animations.omf from motion refs won't be good for NPC's I guess.
I'm not really sure if changing the order of motion refs does anything.
At first I thought that this animation package would replace NPC animations as well, but it's only for the player, of course.
Unfortunately this is the only method for better 3rd person animations I've found so far.
AREA mod had to rewrite the CoC engine scripts that manages these so I don't know how to port their 3rd person animations to Anomaly without crashing other than replacing anim files.

Tried the mod, it seems the animations are from AREA(most of it anyway). The animation files are there but not the scripts so the author might not also know how to port it 100%.
helo i would have a request if you can make the Metro last light ranger armor exo so i mean i have the basic armor and somehow the exo on it
It's a bit of work since I have to make the exo models fit, but I don't really have a lot of time on my hands.
This armor is just something I used personally and decided to release incase someone liked to use it.

I dont have a Mask/HUD overlay when i use this armor, is this normal ?
Wasn't able to add it in. I didn't know how to add overlays to it.
In configs\plugins\actor_effects add this under the Nosorog section

Armor looks really sick and i'm loving it, but i'm experiencing that helmet and hands textures are just being smooth bluish thingy. Do you happen to know why this is happening?
You may have some missing textures. Make sure you installed Anomaly HD Models addon properly.
this mod can be used with the Anomaly HD Models Lite pack?

I will, not sure when but I have 2 variations planned. I guess when I get sick of using this armor I'll get to those other exosuits(yeah I like exos).
Its funny because the bandit beril and bandit LC suit both have a standing straight holstered animation. But the others dont.
Didn't work for me, must be the non-HD models.

You must have another mod that overridden the file 'new_game_loadouts.ltx' so it doesn't appear in the start game gear selection. Suggest you re-install this file from Hero Nosorog and overwrite it again.
Or enable Debug Mode. It shows on the item spawner.

Is it possible to remove the idle animation? The game force close when i use fast travel.
Download OGF Viewer, open the model and replace motionref2 hero_nosorog_anims to stalker_animation
the mod didnt work for me even after the hd mod was installed , maybe i have the wrong hd mod as there are a few all with very similar names ,or does it con flict with other mods such as better starting load outs ??
Yes, it conflicts with files that modifies the starting loadout.
Re-install 'new_game_loadouts.ltx' from Hero Nosorog and overwrite it again or use just add 'hero_nosorog_outfit' in Better Starting Loadouts .ltx file.
cant seem to get this mod to work have reinstalled 3 times the mod just does not show up even in console ???
If it doesn't even show up in the debug console, you have something that overwrites the o_nosorog.ltx file.
no matter what i do cant seem to get this mod to work properly not sure if its a cnflict with other mods ie BAS or Trader over haul or I missed some thing and yes I installed hd anims ver 13 first

I've been looking for an hour or so now, but what is the Black Jacket - Optional file for? I have it enabled along with the Main File and Variant 1, but I can't seem to figure out what it does.
Can this mod be used as a replacement for the other Nosorog armors that have that blast shield in front of the player's face? I'm only interested in this outfit's visuals.

Nevermind I've found it.
Basically just install the meshes part, the texture part and edit whichever faction's nosorog you want to have this visual in the o_nosorog.ltx.
how do you enable Black Jacket? no matter what i do, the jacket is still the ugly camo

Hey can you create this but instead of the exoskeleton, the armor would be either the Berill-5M or Skat-9, fully black, and modified like the Nosorog, i just want this because of the apparent lack of this two armors for Loner player but Loner NPCs wear them, tough they are rare, but i seen them. When i first seen it i instantly feel in love with the armor. Anyway i think you made a great job with the mode. Sorry if my English crap.

Love the mod so far, however I'm having issues with this working with EFP pack.
Getting a crash the moment I take any kind of damage.

Is there any way to get this to be compatible?
EDIT: Found out that if you're using anything that uses arti_outfits.scripts, it can cause a crash.
For example it turns out that "outfit parts overhaul" had a script like that, ended up deleting it as editing the line did nothing but cause more crashes. After deleting it the armor no longer crashes with the EFP modpack.

Hey there .u. / , I must say that the mod look great. Its good to use this if you want to take a break and let yourself go rambo in a new game, but i have a small problem. When i tried to install the mod with MO2 since i don't want to fu$#%= up my game with the optional file of the black jacket option. At the moment to equip the nosorog it doesn't change. It still with the default camo jacket. If anyone know who to solve this please tell me, since i don't know what to do in this situation.
The outfit looks really cool!
One thing i wish for the outfit if this mod gets updated in future, is that adding an option to get non trasnparent lens/glasses for visor/gas masks so it completely covers the eyes of player.
Also outfit model with lowered night vision would be really cool i think

Hey, wondering if I messed up somewhere as all the nosorogs are lacking images in inventory and debug while I was installing the main file and variant 2 with MO2.
It's working, just trying to figure out why the icon images are gone.

you can modify individual armor to have more 'artifact slots' to your liking, I did so with the monolith skat-9 suit but made a back up first for the skat_9 ltx file. just find the line that has the armor you want to tweak and edit 'artefact count' but make sure to factor in the artefact slot(s) granted by the suits upgrades you are tweaking.
i cannot emphasize to make a back up though before making a personal adjustment.
