Anomaly is a standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod powered by an x64 version of the X-Ray engine. Starting with version 1.5.0 Anomaly uses a custom engine build called the XRay-Monolith engine. After almost one year of development of the Anomaly 1.5.0 update, the mod continues its way on expanding and adding new features while maintaining a high level of quality and replay value.

Грех и Ренегаты собраны мною, модели на основе Ninja_Nub [NOR] + свои текстуры. Дополнил одиночек, долг, свободу моделями, которые добавляет Anomaly. Чистое небо на основе мода Clear Sky HD Models Addon от MrStalkerHacker + так же модели добавленные Anomaly и так далее. Изменил текстуры и подправил модели монолита от Darth_Shepard

How exactly do you reskin npc models? Do you just add textures and meshes with the same id of the vanilla models?

the file name of the mesh must be the same as the vanilla models but the texture files can be anything

Do they have working bumpmaps and speculars? Sometimes they need to be added to the texture.ltx file in the textures folder, many modders don know this.

Also, in the screenshots, I've noticed you've made your own Renegade models, especially the exoskeleton despite their already being HD models for Renegades, however I can never find it in .ogf format.

This mod is unfortunately not compatible with other mods that alter o_assault_vest.ltx, o_exolight.ltx and o_seva.ltx, I think. Also I had to delete the gameplay folder to keep the game from crashing on loading a new area.

Great job! Tested your mod on a new game for a few minutes - everything looks rly good. Sadly it doesn't work with my current save. I fixed two minor incompatibilities with other mods (few lines) - same result.

I've got a similar issue when using the mod on an existing save, though it is arguments : sim_default_military_2_default_7

The mod did work successfully, same as you when using with a new game however.

Would be really nice to be able to use these replacement models on the existing save if possible.

Open the required .xml in configs/gameplay [so in my case with a "sim_default_military_2_default_7" error, I would need to open up: character_desc_general_army.xml]

Scroll down do where the missing entry would fit and either type out or add a modified version of an existing entry. So:

It does mean making the changes to the files each time there is a failure to load, but it does seem to be working.

The only thing that comes to mind is the .xml files having the gaps copy pasted with other entries that have had the ID adjusted.

I loaded a save in the swamps and had constant errors. Copy pasted the missing gaps all at once and I was able to smoothly load.

I'm not sure if the copied entries 100% reference the new models as I saw some older NPC meshes from time to time though.

Yes, what I cut out referred to old models. So there were CTD. I will complement the cut out models with a “clones” so that we can play on the old saves.

I have that problem with any HD model addon. there always seems to be a few original models walking around. Im not sure how to fix it.
