Hey, good work! I've actually been not able to install the ЦЕМЕНТ viewmodels because I liked the custom animations so much. I was hoping for a mod like this.

Thx :D
yeah i love the anms on that FAL, i had to do it xD

and in vanilla the player holds the kiparis by the mag, and that was very annoying for a gun nut like me lol so i had to fix that too

How about installing Boomsticks over this mod? It works fine with the Viewmodels fixed Edition. But since you added additional scopes, I'm not sure about compatibility.

It does not seem like B&S changes the AUG in any way + it is not a new scope it's just the crosshair and a fixed model to be aligned with the new crosshair, it's pretty simple really you should be fine :)

if that somehow bugs things then do: viewmodels then B&S then this mod on top

make shure to use the JSGME mod manager, things are alot easier and simpler with it :)

Well, I didn't look into the mod before and I thought your mod includes way more files, like viewmodels fixed :) But it's really not much and no changes to ammo, attachments, etc, so it's fine. Only I think the w_aks74u is changed by B&S. So better to install this before B&S, like Viewmodels Fixed too.

I never use mod manager for modding Stalker, because it's much easier to keep track of everything and make things compatible. I'm using a lot of mods and modified many of them to make them compatible with each other. A mod manager can't do this. But yes, for the average users it would be much easier to use JSGME.

Btw: The fov fix is for 0.67 hud fov?

Your kiparis fix causes:

[error]Description : Can't open wave file:
[error]Arguments : c:/games/s.t.a.l.k.e.r anomaly\gamedata\sounds\weapons\kiparis\kiparis_bore.ogg

I don't know where this sound is upposed to be. I'm not using the original viewmodels mod, only the fixed edition.

You are using the "shellfixes" version? I did have crashes with the kiparis file in this version too, i personally base everything around Thfpjct's version cuz he does have more fixes to sight alignment, idk how much of "shellfixes" you have installed, i actually use everything exept gun files from Yim's mod, "base.itx" is also from yim, but it should work fine without doing that

Also... Do you have the original kiparis replacer mod installed? I can't just add his mod to mine so this is just a fix for his mod

(i just checked and the "kiparis_replacer" addon does have that file) i linked the addons in the description

And yes it's for 0.67 fov

btw, I don't use any mod from Yim.

Maybe in the future, i am trying to fix the M60 now and then there is the HK417 and AUGA3 that also have fkt positions and are unplayable with the new viewmodels mod

SVD works fine for now

I've been trying to make Souvlaki's anims work with the viewmodel, got pretty far yesterday, iron sights work perfectly but the position is still a bit off compared to th original. Will probably finish it in a few days once I figure out how to implement a few other fixes for other mods, but I can send you the files if you want to upload them here.

No need, you can upload them as your own addon, i am currenly working on new 3D scope reticles (for acog and holo sights and stuff) so mine willl not be very compatible with other scope positions anyway. :)

My addon does not change anything about the HK416, your problem is with the original mods, there is actually alot of sight problems with the new viewmodels mod :/

You mentioned that you mixed ЦЕМЕНТ's viewmodels with Yim's Weapon Tweaks. Did you make your own compatibility patch or did you install ЦЕМЕНТ's mod over top of Yim's like I did? I'm not sure if it overrides all of Yim's tweaks or not. On another note, nice job and thanks for the fix!

I was about to ask this, he at least for compensate the fact that he can't post the patch he should let in the description how to manually merge them. That would be very much appreciated! This mod is very good for ignoring it.

i tweaked the files themselves, sinse YIM changes the performance and the viewmodels addon just changes the position on screen, it's copy and pasting lines from one addon to another, in this case using the viewmodels file as a basis and adding yims lines in there

i tweaked all weapon files, but everything else is just from YIM unmodified, like:
upgrades folder, base.itx, and the files with the "weapons_" prefix like weapons_ammo.itx

i use notepad++ with a compare plugin (free and easy to install) to open both files and see the changes made as the difference is highlighted and then i can copy/paste whatever i want

I did not explain how to do it cuz i thought it was common knowledge that you can tweak most of the game just using notepad lol, it's all just numbers (in most cases they even have lables), you open the .itx files with notepad and change the numbers yourself, pretty simple really, you can find what each number does online too :)

I appreciate your help! And I was asking for this because I'm new in things like this, barely I can replace numbers and merge simple addons and such, so i was hoping for the instructions.

Really thanks! :D
