Good job! I managed to fix the positions on all the smgs, shotguns and snipers before losing motivation to fix the assault rifles, nice to see someone had the willpower to do it.

for some reason, when i load my save, the game crash..dont know what is causing it after installing the fix.

Hi, I'm trying to port this values to COTZ (COC) with STCOP pack (same weapons, allmost all). But I have this strange results:
Weapons are ok positioned but with a transparent part. Aiming also is ok.
hud_fov is 0.67 and the weapon model exists (with demo_record you can view it).

I asked on discord and seems that it's z position, as they said VIEWPORT_NEAR it's changed in engine so not the same that COC. Will try changing z position...

There is any way to do that without... edit "0.1", load game, try, close, edit "0.1", load game, try, close... it's a pain...
There are a way to alt+tab and edit, and then reload or something? :D

Nope, I tried and seems doesn't reload ltx... and load-save not working too... Also nothing loading another different savegame (on other map). And "cfg_load"... works but not refresh (neither vid_restart). So...

I tested the mod and found some misalignment issues with some of the assault rifles :

MK 14 EBR - barska
XM8 -AC11090, C-MORE
SIG SG550 Arrow - barska
M4A1 camo/custom/regular version - m203 grenade launcher zoom
M4A1- ACOG, barska, eotech
LR 300ML (custom) - all attachments are misaligned
AKMSN- kobra
m249 SAW - all attachments are misaligned
m16 (all versions) - m203 zoom is misaligned

grenade launcher for all AK variants is misaligned.
all grenade launcher sights are not being used properly.
some weapons zoom out with attachments rather then zoom in.
weird optics zoom animation with some AK variants.

tested only assault rifles. there may be more issues with other weapons.

waiting for a fixed version

That's because a made the zoom go 60 in the ACOG attachment, i never understood why its zoom in so much if it is not a scope.

Man i tried for days to aligned this weapon buts its ****** for me for some reason, it just won't save the presets i put on, even when the game says it was saved

Man i don't know what is happening. This crash never ocurred to me, with or without the "JSRS sounds pack", and i haven't been able to replicate it. also i can't find any mention of this file Wizz_1.ogg in the weapons. sorry

I kinda thought this kind of fix would never come out. Couple months ago a guy came up asking CEMENT for permission to upload his fix for the viewmodel on moddb with full credit to the author but he got straight up refused

i didn't ask for his permission for this, so i am very afraid of this going down someday. But hey, if you think about it, any one could have made this right? if i removed it his name from this post no one would ever know it was him that began the mod, i won't do that of course, its kind of disrespectful.

yeah, I translated his name using gtranslate. I can't type russian so I just use the english version. He seldomly pay attention to moddb so I don't think he would know about this unless someone brief him. I was told he's still working on the mod, just wonder what takes him so long to finish it. And I think the same as you do, tbh even if CEMENT might oneday ask you to take down your work, you should not remove his credit in anyway

about the case of lr300, you should first overwrite all scoped variants' aim parameters with ironsight variant's aim parameters then work the offset from there, you don't have to fiddle with orientation. I've been using this method for the guns I played, I even tried to complete the fix myself but the whole process is so tedious that I even give up playing and wait for a the next release or update that fixes the apply button, it did work a few times

Ok so i tried to do that but the game says that the Detector (or any other HAND device) is not a weapon, therefore, its position cannot be edited.
