Do you still pull the charging handle though? Like when you're loading the gun from empty? You shouldn't have to do it if you're just swapping magazines, because the FAL has a last-round bolt hold-open mechanism, but if you should still have to charge the gun from an empty state.

Entirely depends on how the weapon is rigged, some anims work better with other guns while other may not, i'll take a look tho

Yes, the AK-like mag in is absolutely non sense as there is a plastic / metal or w/e part of the receiver that prevents you in theory from doing that. They could have taken the TAZ 2.0 animation... but I've heard ATAZ team had issues porting the mod lol.

(Dead Air already has a guy doing that and mp5lng apparently haven't even briefed him on how to do that...LOL)

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I aligned the eotech, gotta check that out. And if by other scope you mean the other reflex sights, I didn't do anything to em since they ain't available through normal means anyway

Damn, I really want to install your Kiparis and FAL animations, but unfortunately I have TazDJ's sound mod installed and I'm unsure how to manually merge both of the files they modify together or if some of the sounds from TazDJ's mod (specifically the reload sound files) can work with the animations.

Hmm, not sure what TazDJ's mod modifies with the files, but the reloads his mod has definently aren't compatible with my animations, hence why my mod has it's own reload sounds

Hi, i'm just taking your mod over mine, this is just TOO good ! :D

The only thing i'm doing is trying to boost the volume on the base sound volume in SAV&T, not even bothering with replacing a cloth sound or anything TBH.

As for the Kiparis, I MIGHT edit them (not sure yet, I must test the sounds first) Anyway if any change happens, it's just gonna be an option to use my sounds.
Yours are pretty neat too ! :)

EDIT : turns out comments are 2.0 base sound volume on fal reload; I want to balance a little bit more the boltrelease compared to the other parts of the sound if you don't see any inconvenience to this

Just merge the weapon .ltx files favouring TazDJ's file for sound sections.
WinMerge makes it fairly easy.

Ok so, one more comment from me : this is amazing work of course. I was thinking, when some TAZ 2.0 guns will be ported, maybe you could reanimate those who need some love ?

I know it's a lot of work lol.
I think the overall priority should be to create reload sounds for the guns that only have a full reload animation and / or a very funky / bad looking animation (not giving priority over any TAZ stuff ofc)

Anyway each time you create new animations, there will be me to adapt / create sounds for them. This makes the gun feel so much like EFT.

Oh *please* tell me you're going to do animations for the various AR weapons in Anomaly. The "racking the charging handle with the palm" stuff is bad enough but the M4 RAS being reloaded like an AK is terrible.

Hey thanks for making this, I LOVE IT, and it made me actually love using the FAL in this game whereas before due to the animations and stuff i kinda avoided it. (I'm a sucker for reloads that actually have empty and partial reloads) But i was wondering if it was possible for you to make a patch to use this with ЦЕМЕНТ'S VIEWMODELS: FIXED EDTION Moddb.com

I use that with Boomsticks and sharpsticks, but using these animations with it and the hud fov needing to be set at 0.67 means that the fal looks really "zoomed out"

edit: Update, i have taken it upon myself to "try" and edit it myself. Will upload it now and obviously give credits!

Hey uh, I got this thing works just fine, however for my situation, it looks like everything sights, especially the ACOG, is too little to aim. Like, the scope got small after I enabled the addon. Can you fix this?

If I recall correctly, the charging handle doesn't do that, it is non reciprocating.
