In two words traders change price of some items over time.
Description
Adding "base" and "event" discounts to the traders and display it in their UI:
- "base" is constant, similar to what you can do in vanilla, but less frustrating to setup and remember;
- "event" is dynamic and addition to "base", after some time traders will change it (to better or worse offers);
Preferable to use with MCM >>MCM HERE<< if you want to change events to your taste. You can also set there a notification message when trader gets new discounts.
IMPORTANT:
- Events will start running only after you open trader's trade window for the first time after installing addon. (First event will appear after 1 day.)
- These discounts do not change vanilla cost and go on top of it.
To see the discounts in trader window, you hover the "Discount" near his name and the window will appear, like this:![54511]()
Items will display their group:

That's all, should be compatible with everything (unless you get super high/low prices) and easy to install/uninstall.

Script has the instructions at lines 19-36, but I'll duplicate it here.
Also, value of "0" means no "base" discount, but this group can get "event" discount.

Vanilla already has some discounts in trade profiles just in case ("trade_generic_buy" of butcher, barkeep and scientist, although scientists discount is only +15% on artefacts buy). Need some modding experience, but if you can - better remove them from vanilla configs and do them in my table if you want a better control over their prices ;p

How is it impacting the CPU? I have a 12100F, running cold system, stealth, psy stress, phantoms, sss, shader Scopes, toxic rain and toxic air. Which seem to be CPU heavy.
It does not run anything constantly, so should not have any impact. Wait, which ones you mentioned are heavy on cpu? ;]
No idea, they seem like heavy on the CPU lol since they run a script constantly. Or maybe my modlist is just too long for my CPU to handle.
Your mods make a simple walk a whole story. 400 hours on this save and still going.
Thousands of lines are running constantly in games, a simple calculation from cold system or toxic air can't have a meaningful impact, it's like a drop in the ocean ;p Can't speak for shaders, don't know how they work.

It sounds really good, but here is the question: are the stalkers' chatter in PDA about how some traders give discounts on ammo/food/other or set higher prices related to the events this mod add, or are these messages only decorative and don't tell anything to player?
I didn't do anything with stalkers or their messages ;]
There is one message I added - once the trader gets new event with new discounts, if some of them are high or low enough he will drop the message in the chat.
Oh, alright. Can you make stalker post their messages about discounts related to the events or current merchant's prices, though? I think it would be very immersive and would be an interesting additon, if it is possible
It's possible, but I'm bad at writing something that would fit the feeling of the game world.

With something like this you could make a inflation system depending on things like happnes, reduce prices by braking the miracle machine and brinscocher for example?
Can add that yeah, but don't think a sandbox game need too much dependency on storylines (although I have this dependency in other addon ;p). I'll think about adding it as optional.

Faction Based Economy can already make you sell for higher price than buy without any help ;p As my description says - it's compatible, until the price goes nuts, in that case maybe you can tone down either of addons or game option.

Друзья, не знаю, что делать, гугл не дал ответа по моему вопросу. Мне нужна помощь! Я хочу сделать скрипт (?), который бы выполнял две определенные консольные команды при нажатии двух разных горячих клавиш. В чем смысл? Есть консольная команда scope_factor и 2 значения: 0.25 и 0.66. Эти оба значения мне подходят, но под разные прицелы. При смене оружия с двумя разными прицелами неудобно постоянно вводить то одну команду, то другую. Я подумал, что значение scope_factor 0.66 можно забиндить на одну клавишу, скажем, стрелка вверх, а scope_factor 0.25 на стрелку вниз. Сложно ли это сделать? Помогите, кто может...

ModernUI, it's placed correctly. In vanilla the trader icon is on the right side ;]
You can go to "ui_xcvb_trade_16.xml" and change position of <hover_discount x="75" y="30"

Еще интересно, будет ли этот аддон работать с аддоном на навыки? Там есть навык, который при прокачке дает скидку у торговцев
