Basically Frostfall but for Amomale xd Adding cold system that depends on many different factors.
If someone want to take this addon, modify and reupload - feel free to do so. I don't think I'll be updating it because has too many other addons to maintain, don't have enough time for all of them ;[
- Negative (increase):
- Wind (Does not affect player indoors).
- Rain (Does not affect player under roofs and other obstacles).
- Time of a day.
- Positive (decrease):
- Sun (Halved indoors).
- Movement.
- Outfit kind.
- Campfire.
- Both:
- Attachments: Belted artefacts and mutant skins can increase/decrease cold value. Thermo artefacts and skins reducing it, while electra artefacts increase it. Value depends on tier.
(And some more):
- Sleep: reduction depends on hours. Having bedspread in inventory gives +50%.
- (v0.5) Consumables: Cooked food stays hot for some time after cooking, approximately for 6 in-game hours. Food's cold reduction depends on satiety reduction. Traders will always have Very Hot food. Alcohol reduce cold value aswell. Hovering food in inventory will show how hot it still is in tooltip:
(v0.5) Fever system and penalties
Once cold value is higher than 30% you will have a chance for fever value to increase. Higher cold value = higher chance.
Fever penalties:
(Depends on fever value.)
- Stamina cap up to 60%.
- HP regen reduction up to -100%.
- HP cap up to 75%.
- Speed reduction up to -70% (also slightly reduced by cold value).
Fever treatment:
Although it's very hard to get max fever value, it's also hard (or expensive) to get rid of.
- Sleep mainly.
- Medicine: certain medicine cure fever (I just took antibiotics, medkits and everything that more or less fit it). Fever reduction value is based on cost and tier. Med's tooltip has Fever reduction values:

HUD position is adjustable in MCM and have text versions.
Current cold protection can give an idea of how fast your cold value will increase or decrease.
Fever Threshold is the point beyond which you can get Fever value increase.
Critical Cold Threshold is when you start losing health (frostbite).
Compatibility and other stuff
Almost everything is configurable via MCM ( CLICK HERE TO GET MCM ), setting any factor to "0" if possible will disable it.
Should be compatible with everything. Overwriting "speed.script" is fine.

Possible fix for people who play with bleeding effects ON and see rare red screen effects:
1. Go to actor_effects.script
2. Find this line:
level.add_pp_effector("bloody.ppe",2010,false)
3. Comment it out by adding two hyphens before this line, so it will look like this:
--level.add_pp_effector("bloody.ppe",2010,false)
I really don't want to add this script into addon because people will endlessly ask for patches (I know that a lot of addons use this script) and I want to focus on other things.
It's just one line, so I hope you'll be able to fix it by yourself ;]

Uhm, I expect people to reinstall addon with mod manager, not manually.
Tried mod manager, not that useful. They simply dont handle mod conflicts, and there is no point using one if I will have to manually merge scripts and files.
Just like in Siberia or even Yakutia.

I look forward to testing this, just from looking at description, one thing that came to mind is maybe also take month in account, if that is possible. PDA shows the date but not sure if it can be used like that. Also what happens if u get cold? Stamina/health loss?

About months, it's possible but since weather in stalker depends on addons only I don't think it will be a good idea.
It´s true, in theory you could be all fancy like switching addons around for different seasons, but then again who is really gonna do that ^^
You can disable "Winter" in MCM if you want it to be spring or autumn ;p For summer you can disable addon, not like it's cold even under rains in summer.

There is no temperature, just the value that increase/decrease based on factors.

Пять минут, полёт нормальный. Играю я не особо долго с аддоном (Всего не более часа где-то) и не могу сказать на счёт баланса или вылетов, тем не менее, было бы приятней иметь возможность выводить информацию в цифрах (В том числе влияние предметов на температуру) и возможность с помощью ползнуков переместить интерфейс аддона в любую удобную точку монитора (Если это всё вообще реализуемо).
Мне тяжело дается писанина худов, но я попробую. Насчет предметов, пока не нужно, там их всего 5 (алкоголь), которые примерно одинаково 10% за раз снижают. Может позже сделаю когда придумаю как еще предметов добавить.
You could use Beard Tea or The Beak as an alternative option. :)
Mainly want to add not alcohol only, but also some food that stays hot for some time, food that being sold by traders or cooked... haven't thought about attachments and furs yet, but second certainly should be there ;p

Только что заметил баг интерфейса, при котором полоска температуры начинает мигать, и скорее всего это из-за обновления синей полоски (Холода).
Странно, я побегал, синяя полоска заполнялась нормально без миганий.
Это может быть связано с ДиректХксом (Играю на 8), или же какой-то мод на интерфейс (В данном случае у меня стоит GBHS и Modern UI для 8-9 ДиректХксов) может создавать такой баг?
Не знаю, на дх8 и с модерн юаями не пробовал.

No, keep it but overwrite, it's the same script that every addon has and overwriting it is fine. If you don't have this script and launch this addon - game gonna crash (in case someone will try to delete it for no reason).

I think the cold when you are near to campfires should decrease much more faster i spent about 5 mins sit next to one and it only got down for about 1/4

Also you should add more consumables that decrease cold like maybe the Beard's tea
or even some drugs like cocaine, glucoses shots (large one and small one but the small one gives less boost on cold decrease compared to the large shot) and caffeine tablets
It's crazy, just a few days ago I was once again wishing there was a way to make a cold system for Anomaly. Great work, I can't wait to try this out. I think it is fair to say this could be considered an entire framework in itself, capable of expanding an entire new area of gameplay. Along with drug addictions, illness framework and some other things, Anomaly could be very much revamped into a real pain town. haha I love it.

The only thing is that I'm getting a screen bleeding effect going on when I enable the mod (red blurring effect for a second every 30 sec or so) Any Ideas why that is? I think it may be tied to the health regeneration penalty, but I really don't know? I'm sure its a bleed effect, because when I disable it from the game settings it stops.
Addon has nothing to do with bleeding or its screen effects.
upd: Yes, you are right, sorry. It's not coming from bleeding, but from a function that supposed to draw blood on a screen, there's also a brief screen effect that you see... I'm not really sure how to fix that without changing that file ;[
Currently it has a chance to play this effect on even the tiniest damage if your health is 99% (or below).
У меня тоже эффект кровотечения идет при заморозке, если в меню его отключить то все нормально.
