If you optimized BaS, why the majority of screens are showing vanilla weapons, bruh?

Fantastic addition. 4K textures look 10% better for 200% worse performance most of the time, so a downscale like this is a godsend for anyone who's not trying to show off that they have a computer more expensive than a motorbike.
Yeah 4K looks great but it's a framerate killer for mid-end PCs, also game slowes down with more and more mods installed, so it's good even for high-end PCs with heavy load orders.

Yeah, it's because I moved all resized textures back to BaS folder and overrided everything, then entire BaS's textures folder was packed and uploaded on ModDB, which is why all possible textures are inside, not only downscaled ones. A matter of rush, I guess.
So its not Dot and reticles extravaganze compatible?

It is save game compatible. It's just a texture pack, it won't mess your game in any way.

There is Performance Pack for Anomaly released by me already, it resizes down a lot of objects, including weapons.

Well, this pack is more lightweight than default 2K/4K textures, just give it a try and check how it works for you. It should boost FPS for actually everyone.

this is pretty cool! maybe in a near future, we will be able to chose 1k, 2k or 4k textures when installing mods...
because 1k is not enough for me, 4k is fine, but I would not mind a 2k for added performance ^^
Well, you can't please everyone I guess. I'm releasing textures that I use myself on my GTX 1060. 4K is definitely too much, 2K is alright, unless the mod list becomes too heavy.

could you also optimized bas sight? because every time i spray and pray while using holographic sight or scope from bas my fps just dropped from 2 digits to 1 digits

In general, I'm trying to stay away from messing with reticles, sights, UI or HUD textures, cause it's easy to break something during downscaling, so I don't think I will do anything more that what you can see now.

If you're looking for more FPS you can also try my 1K textures for whole Anomaly, including downscaled trees, buildings, vehicles etc.

Oh it depends of many factors, your gpu, mod list, game settings. Difference should be noticeable.
