The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
This mod allows you to gain exp by killing monsters and other stalkers! After levelup you'll get some points for you gun mastery and perks!
Well, hello there. Here's some update for my RPG mode.
Every single action you could do in the Zone you'll get an exp. Either killing someone or completing tasks or even discovering some new areas (with new HABARR yey!). So you're growing constantly. Hit new levels, hit SHIFT+C and see what you've got.
Since it now fully depending on the player's rank, I'd hardly suggesst to use it in a company of some rank boosting addons. For examples, you could use this one from Yakovleva.
Since you're growing with your rank no additional exp adjusts. You're just playing and getting all these fresh levels. Safe to midgame, no new game required.

This is Anomaly RPG system createdy by Inakrin.
There might and will be some bugs and incompatibilities because I hate lua. You have been warned.
So here's what we have.
1. EXP: Getting exp will grant skill points which could be spent on 8 ways of char's development. See more below.
2. LEVEL: Actually there is no hard cap to leveling but since there is ingame rank limit you could raise (in theory) up to 168th lvl (or to 246th with ranks addon) which is good enough to master at least 4 skill branches (they're endless and their bonuses still raising with pts invest but the last skill is opening on lvl 44).
3. DAMAGE OVERHAUL: As for some new unlethal mechanics there was a damage overhaul system. So hitting a limb now deals no match of damage comparing with direct torso hit.
4. REASON BARRIER: Now you can not kill you target repeatedly hit its elbow or knee. Aim better!
5. PROGRESSION: As it pretty fashionably these days so I had add constant boost with leveling up. Now you'll get 2 extra kilos of carryweight per level. Your speed is also increasing by 0.5%.
6. QUALITY OF LIFE: Some skill branches are opening pretty neat perks. So Stalker branch gives you Empathy (hitmark on landing a good shot), Recon (placing deadbodies on you maps), Vampire. Looter branch gives you a prepared ground perk (lvl2) which is auto-unloading weapons on the looting bodies. Level 3 grants you an auto-collector perk which is relocating ammo, meds and artifacts.
7. BLOODY TECH: Mechanic's branch unlock an ability to restore your gear conditions via killing but this is just unlock. An amount of repair is fully up to profile branch: armorer for armor, surivalist for helmet and one of choosen guns for their repairing. So if you're on zero points you'll get no repair at all.
Skills are separated by 8 different ways to boost.
1. Small caliber mastery
Inflicts pistols and smgs.
2. Big caliber gun
Inflicts any rifles.
3. Exotic guns
Inflicts shotguns and launchers.
4. Survivalist
Need more chances to survive?
5. Armorist
The best defence is not an offence. It is a defence with some point in armorist.
6. Looter
It's all about getting some HABARR from dead bodies and stashes
7. Bloody tech
8. A hero. Or a victim. Whatever.
UNINSTALL OLD VERSION! Drop the gamedata in your anomaly folder or use some kind of mod manager. In case of MODDB downloading issues use NEXUS mirror.

Update 1: Added fomod compat and moved some perks to extras
Update 2: Added tweak slider for damage output
Update 3:Added compatibility PATCH for BHS mod (enables via MCM), level cap and move both "Recon" and "Warlok" to MCM too.
Update 4: new perk, some tweaks with no saving progress
Update 5: new UI (shift+c) some backward compatibility issues resolved and different stalkers/monsters dead icons in mini-map/PDA map
Update 6: Now you're choosing your path by yourself. Just open the UI after leveling up and pick you perk to boost and either damage (no level limit) or defence (10th level max)
Update 7: fixed issue with frozen exp and restrict both warlok and recon perks on the first level. Because you know. seems like it'll be skill tree.
Update 8: weapon rework. Automatic desert eagle, laser accuracy on BM16, sniper able to knock down. Some more stuff like this. Ah yes, hitmarks are included.
Update 9: Gun boosting fixes. Now should work with any optic addons.
Update 10: Fixes fixes fiiiiixeeeees! Mostly is damage taking and scope issues.
Update 11: resent boosting ability from reload directly to the shooting. Gun could be removed to the inventory but that's ok. Added install option with UI DX8 adaptation
Update 12: more bonuses more meta. Check it out
Update 13: a lucky number. Let's call it a day and stop developing. Now just tech support.
Update 14: because human is weak. Now exp gain for even reflected, dodged and blasted damage.

It's permanent and applied for any weapons you are using. Every new level grants 10% more to the damage. Yeah totally unbalanced but I hate balancing things.

Sure thing. But you have to get that far in the first place. Levels are not that easy to get after some threshold to totally ruin balance lol. But as people asking, I will add option to set your level dmg bonus via mcm.

Is it possible to make craft optional? I use Moddb.com as the most complex and logical system. Although the addon has not been updated for a long time.

Is there a way to deactivate certain perks? I am running the anomaly magazine redux mod and getting extra ammo in the magazine would not make sense.
Also I am not sure if that should break something.

Not an issue, and I have no idea how hard it is in python, but it would seem easiest to put an MCM check menu in there for perks and then wrap each perk in a "If activated in mcm = go ahead and work your magic else don't do stuff"
Anyways, I am totes ready! I also edited a few variables because a +10% damage boost per level is way too much imho.
Nope, there's some troubles in the scripts itself just like tables etc. Anyways, got update with optional Recon and Warlok perks (main files are without them), now compatible with Mod Organizer!

Could be that you forget to put in the regen variable into the nukem function. Runner has it with regen = stuff

Let me make one more request. I would like the corpses to be displayed not only on the mini-map, but also in the PDA. Unfortunately I was not able to edit xml myself.

Hello, can you explain what the "RECON AND WARLOCK" option does?
Recon allows you to see corpses on minimap (gray dots), warlock allow you after kill restore ammo to your magazine fully plus giving extra ammo for magazine (for once).

Let me think... To get at least 50 lvl (490% dmg, 50% dmg reduction) you should gain about 255k exp in total. As you get about 70 pts from average boar I guess you'll have to clean en entire Zone about 10 times to become at least that far.
Well just in case is there any way for me to make a level cap myself?

Also just one more thing, when I downloaded and applied the new update my game keeps crashing everytime I enter the RPG section of the pda. Is that the mods fault or are there conflicts in my modlist? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I played the previous version of the mod then installed the latest update?
Now it's not needed in PDA tab 'cause of new RPG UI. Yeah that was totally my fault and I fixed it.
Hi, started testing your mod. There seems to be interesting stuff with vampirism, or mutant armor repairs. Every time I kill, I take damage to my limbs or head. that after a small firefight kills me.

Please download v. 0.8.4. There two compat options -- either fix BHS's heal penalty or removing conflicting healing skill from ARPG. I recommend try both to check what fits you best
