Nice addon. The white dots were a bit difficult to see. One thing I notice is that the dot goes away when you search the body for a second time. Is this a bug? Great work anyway!

Should be the first time but maybe the fix for the engine skipping that command isn't as good as I had hoped.

They do disappear on looting the first time for me.

I could make a version that leaves the dots until the corpse despawns if you would like.

No don't do anything. Sometimes a second search is needed! Also if an NPC loots the body you still have a chance to find it and see if something is left for you. Thanks again.

Mod only does dots for dead humans. not dead mutants or living anything. It has been tested with both the current version of anomaly and the version undergoing testing. Is it possible you installed it wrong?

~For me, too. I installed using JSGME but it does not show any dots.~
I am the idiot. I installed JSGME in the wrong location. Then, it started working fine, after I got it to the root folder.
However, the game started crashing after I installed this AND made a few changes in the graphical settings, bumping them up, gradually, to maximum, after having moved the Anomaly folder to my new SSD.
I have disabled this and still, the crashes continue which leads me to believe that it is some graphical setting. I am reverting the bumped-up ones to lower ones and troubleshooting.
I will post my findings, STALKER.

For anyone else looking the color is controlled by the xml file. i forget the exact name but there are only 2 files total I have faith in your ability to find it.

Please disregard, installed JSGME, and worked out how to add the mod from there. Gots to be able to find all the bodies!

Are you possible to make an addon that makes NPCs appear on the minimap again? like in Clear Sky, friendly NPC in green, hostile NPC in red. I try to edit the .xml file of relations but it does not work.

pda 3.1 does show friendlies, used debug to spawn it to confirm, still testing neutrals.

Though i do second the request for more full npc markers mod, something i quite liked about original games

It didn't show hostiles all the time and i can't rember exactly how it did behave. Was it as simple as they show up when they are incombat with the player?

Or was it something like so many seconds after shooting?

The way it worked is like this, and I will separate the Minimap & Static Counter (We'll call it just Counter here)

The Minimap itself will show neutrals and allies, as long as they are in range, the Static Counter will also go up and emit a beep.

For hostiles, the Minimap won't show them, but if you look directly at them OR if they shoot without a silencer, they will appear briefly.
Also as a "bonus" of sorts, a red cone will also appear to indicate the latest hostile that just shot you.
Static counter acts exactly the same as if it it was with the neutrals.

Although I'd recommend you make most of it optional, especially the Static Counter to not show hostiles unless they are viewable.

А как убрать мутантов? Просто в последней версии анимации предметов с некоторых мутантов нельзя взять их части, (раньше анимация работала, но вместо частей появлялась надпись "ничего нет") и в итоге после убийства мутанта, с которого нельзя взять части, остаётся точка на миникарте - и она раздражает! :)

And how to remove mutants? Just in the latest version of the animation of items from some mutants, you can not take their parts ,( previously the animation worked, but instead of parts, the inscription "nothing" appeared) and as a result, after killing a mutant, from which you can not take parts, there is a point on the minimap-and it is annoying! :)

This is because NPCs looted them I believe. Usually when this happens, if there are nearby Stalkers that are dead, they have mutant parts on them. The carve interface is just not allowed if the animal has no parts, so you can't turn the dots from blue to grey.

Hey friend, do you think you can make the dots behave like CoD mini maps?

The Red dots appear when an enemy fires an unsuppressed weapon within the mini map range for a period of time (3 secs maybe?), with real-time movement tracking during the duration of the dot visibility.
If they are using a suppressed weapon, then you would need to be closer to the shooter.
And also to show friendly and neutral NPCs with their corresponding colors

Thanks bro, NP, ill wait for this.
I have planned several runs with different factions on GAMMA, so I have quite the amount of time since I like to complete all secondary quests per run first, leaving for the last the main quests

As a side note, this "mode" can be activated and deactivated via MCM, because I know for a fact that not everyone will like this change, so not make it optional?
