The war between Athens and Sparta in the V sec B.C.
AI behaviour in battles with quite big amount of cavalry. (in this case Aetolian cities against Thessalian cities)
In the video all the orders are given by AI. As you can see, cavalry behaves in a clever way trying to attack from behind.
Thanks to Motomataru for his codes
Would be great, if the infantry would not charge like zombies though, but advance in formation until the phalages clash. (A problem with M&B in general, therefore great to see, that the cavalry is kinda smarter here.)
Is there btw a feature, that phalanges try to push the enemy away. Combined with the stumbling feature that would be great to see!
Yes, infantry formations have been implemented after this video on cavalry behaviour.
In the mod it will be good looking and effective
How many units were in the battle?I supposed more than 200
battle limit 250
Amazing! Cavalry behaving as it was supposed to in that "age"! Very nice. :-D
