ProtoWario's Supersized Tweaks & Edits Mediafire.com
1. Tinkered with the party sizes without the Lords Army ballooning (high stats).
Starting Troop Size = 100
1 Leadership = 15
15 Renown = 1
1 1/2. Morale tweaked to accommodate with the levy increase.
Tinkered Villager and Mercenary recruitment to match China's large constription.
2. Emperors get 10 strength & agility, meanwhile Princes getah 5 increase.
Food that goes bad have had their amount halved, its eating increased & price decreased.
3. Units won't run away straight as the battle starts.
Doubled to 90 seconds for the cowards before routing
4. Recruiting Prisoner is half a day instead of a full one.
Prisoner Recruitment cost one morale instead of three.
5. Relations & Right to Rule have been increased
Bandits spawn less frequently, doubled the time to 72 hours.
6. Tournaments bets and prices have been increased to reasonable amount.
Arenas also give you more cash if your up to doing it.
7. All Ammunition have at least 50% increase, Neutral/Evil Parties have their amount doubled, edited Faction Colours to match those of Chinese Culture.
8. Other stuff that I forgot to mentioned since this was weeks ago into my "Lets Play". Really hope "Mad Science Development Studios" will check out some of my edits (hourlong searches) to perhaps improve the F.D.A.T.K. mod.
9. Decreased the battle lag by turning off dust.
You can now crouch, proceed to see crossbowmen do so.
10. Horse charge, fall damage, couch lance has been damage lowered.
Shock damage is now 5, which mean you won't be stunned by a butterknife.
0. I only got companions to shut up after a battle, couldn't get them to do so indefinitely. I don't know how the author adjusted the Garrison sizes with his own secret method.
Thanks for the feedback. By the way, performance in battles should be better in the latest versions than 1.3 :)
Recommend naming the "Princes" into "Grand Prince", because they're technically Kings in titles, linguistics also supports my proposal.
Even though viewed by later Historians as just Warlords, many ruled territories and populations bigger than most European Countries.
Just as "Grand Duke" can denote equivalence of a King, so can adding the prefix Grand to Prince makes it look/sound more splendorous.
For any readers wondering you can do such changes in the "troops.txt" file.
This mod has so far chosen some excellent soundtracks.
Further have 2 more theme suggestions for the overworld.
1. "梦回大唐 Back to Great Tang" song Youtube.com
One can feel as though they've been teleported to a former glorious Capital, ahh Changan was once such but now largely in ruins..
2. "Chamomile Chinese Harp" music Youtube.com
Favourite instrumental for traveling across the map. I tell ya hwat, players will pause it by the listening of this play.
Supposed the closest comparison for this mod in terms of gameplay would be "Gekokujo" (Warlord era). It takes place in the second worst period in all of Chinese Historia (10th century).
Fall of the "Great Tang Dynasty", was as miserable affair as the "Byzantine Dark Ages".
Certainly a most unique setting being made by an already self-proven modder.
Would say that this one is in late Alpha stage, the base game is however there. Not much variety yet namely in terms of weapons, presently the armour show colour swaps of each other.
Another thing I would like to see reworked is the weather, lack of snow in the North or rain in the South can feel quiet jarring. Restructuring the aimless Geography like Sichuan province should be on the list.
Haven't encounter much of any campaign breaking bugs, although the giant reinforcement wave (forced glitch) was a great pain with no cure in sight, had to set "battle size" to 70 to mediate any 400+ unit lag.
In its current form with constant updates from the creator,
I'll want to give it a score of 7 with an extra 1 point in keeping-up effort.
This review was written after a complete playthrough of version 1.3,
looking forward to this ambitious project as his previous done-work.
Ooooh, let's see!
I just hope it's a realistic mod, because I'm tired of all the wuxia-themed mod about China. :'(
This is not a Wuxia mod
It's say "Unable to open file: CommonRes\ccoop_extra_ui_textures.brf" what should i do please?
This happens typically if you are playing on a pirated copy or an old version of Warband. This problem is not related to this mod in particular.
I think you can make some special troop, after all, Chinese culture is vast and profound。such as:银枪效节兵from liang,黑云长剑军,鸦儿军,厅子都and so on
