How many research stations does one need?
One of each (Combat and Civilian). That's all you need in this mod.
How do I build citadels?
Orca > Astrahus > Spawn the Noctis > Build the Fortizar > Spawn the Orca > Build the Keepstar. (don't forget about the research prerequisites), the reason we've chained it like this is so that the AI will build all three Citadels instead of just focusing on building Keepstars.
Should I disable any DLC's?
Only Minor Factions (in the match setup menu).
Why do ships only have one strikecraft per squad?
The way we cope with drones is by combining the attributes of x number of drones into one, hence why you only see 1 physical entity. Some ships (like Carriers or Supercarriers) may field several squads however due to the lower count of them in battles. We also have a drone recall ability on every ship with drones to ensure that they only engage targets within a certain range (in line with EVE's drone ranges).
I'm having issues with performance, my game is crashing/stuttering/lagging, how do I fix?
A: Go to Options > Video and check the 'Use System Cursor' box.
B: Go to Options > Display > Enable 'Borderless Windowed' mode, and hit Apply.
Reason behind that is because of a bad Nvidia driver update which broke the sins cursor leading to these lags - exclusive for Nvidia GPUs.
Random Race Picker in this mod.
As it currently stands, the random race picker is made solely for AI use and is not advisable to be used for human players, due to how the AI is balanced around the mod.
Techwise.... How do you get to mining with a hulk? researched everything but cant find where to build them. cheers!
You build them within the Asteroid Belts, select the Asteroid and build them.
Capital Ships keep spawning and taking up cap. How do I stop them from autobuilding?

I love this mod, I am having one issue however and was wondering if I might have done something wrong. Every game I've tried playing so far, the game will crash after I get anywhere from 3 to 4 planets under my control. There is no crash advisory or anything, the game simply Alt+F4's itself into oblivion. Hoping maybe someone can tell me what to do. Cheers!

I just installed the most recent game update (1.975) after installing the mod for the first time. Every time I try to enter a game, the mod crashes on the game loading screen and says I have minidumped. I've tried borderless + system cursor and a large number of combinations of other graphics settings, which map, race, etc. to no avail. Any ideas what I can do to successfully get into a game?
Have you tried disabling Minor Factions DLC in the match options?

game just randomly crashes 5-10 mins into a game. Tried the cursor fixes and borderless window. No error messages or freezing. just crashes straight to desktop

Similar to what another user (jarhead285) posted here in late april, game randomly crashes 5-10 mins to a match with no error, log file, minidump, or anything. Have followed all the steps outlined here and in other places on the mod page (deleting settings, borderless window, system cursor etc.) Issue does not happen with either vanilla or any other serious mod for rebellion (take your pick of total conversions on here, I sanity checked with most of them) Not sure what the issue might be other then I'm on an AMD GPU and it might just be lack of ability to test for AMD (similar issue happened with the sins remastered mod on Vega GPUs where the shader wouldn't function for shields). Let me know if theres anything I can do on my end to try and find the issue here, the mod itself looks great.

hi, i have been having an issue where the resolution cant be change, and the game doesnt fit to the screen size, cant do anything with the grapic setting and the apply button is greyed out, have followed some of the other fixes around and non have worked
