New parts on the planets are, of course, beautiful, but not for my laptop ((They freeze too much in the gravity well. Is there any way to overwrite them with files from the previous version of the mod?

Are you using an Intel GPU by any chance or integrated graphics?

Yes, Intel Core i5 3210M 2.5GHz and nVidia GeForce GT 630M. The laptop is quite old, but the previous version 1.05.02 worked perfectly for me. With the processing of planets, the mod is playable, but it’s already scary to carry out the same large-scale battles as before. Too much slowdown even without any activity.

Ahhh, yeah the new planet shaders would put a bit more demand on the GPU. I'm genuinely surprised it can run Sins though, let alone this massive mod.

The most ironic thing is that before the planets were remade, I played games perfectly on 3 stars, even using reskins, and I had no problems with brakes or crashes. Your mod has been optimized in an exemplary manner, even if you didn’t plan for it initially)) Is it possible to hope that in one of the upcoming updates players will have a choice in favor of performance rather than beauty, at least with planets? Still, with music, you provided the ability to choose between old and new tracks, although this has much less impact on the gameplay.

Try deleting all the files in Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Setting, if that doesn't improve stability, then opt-in for the last beta of Sins, let it download, then opt-out and let it update

Performance may be worse with the planets but stability is actually better, there should be less crashes / minidumps (unless your settings files are corrupt or the game itself is, which is semi-common)

The reason we didn't provide an optional addon for the older planets, were because they were the worst last thing in the mod that we didn't update, that were Years old. None of the textures used the correct UV's and showed buggy, like they didn't fit the mesh (which they didn't). We decided that the upgrade was well worth it; perhaps not for people running on potatoes but there arnt many people doing that still. I do apologize, but what we had last time was so bad we can't even consider making it an optional addon.

Why aren't JumpBridge and CynoJammer included in the Triglavian study?

Thankyou for reporting this!
I added the cyno jammer and jump bridge to the player profile but not the techs, which are required to unlock them
Fixed and will upload that soon

Any other issues please let us know asap

is there a way to stop sub-capital ships to prioritize attacking planets? kinda annoying when fighting against enemy fleets.

The only ships that do that are T1 Destroyers, which are meant for bombing planets and destroying strikecraft.

Unfortunately its a 32bit game and we're at the limit. Big plans for Sins II though.
