Silent Hill: Indistinct Fear mod for Half-Life 2

Silent Hill: Indistinct Fear isn't typical horror mod full of "jump-out-of-closet scenes", instead it relies more on effective, mentally pressing psychological terror. With it's surreal, dark environments and eerie atmosphere Silent Hill series can make your heart pump even if the threat isn't even near. It's also our goal, to bring the true horror in your home that is. Of course there are something you have to get to shoot/smash/run away from. Now you must think that I mean zombies, and that's a NO. There are no lame, unbelievable lab mutations, not in this game. The monsters you face are the most scariest things you'll ever encounter. There isn't going to be any high tech sci-fi weapons to back you up either, you have to survive with everyday things like steel pipe, chainsaw and police baton. There are firearms too though, a pistol, shotgun, SMG, assault- and sniper rifle plus various fun bonus weapons like in original game series.
