I've managed to fix the units formation in some of them now; slinger, peltasts and barbarian infantry and desert infantry.
Also I managed to have peasants to be available for Rome to recruit post marian.
Only problem is the population grows to quick which could be solved by making the amount of people needed to upgrade a city or reduce the population growth a bit with some tweaking.

As cow below said the population growth gets out of hand quickly, I had a citt rebel after 12 turns. Could you please tell me if there is a file I can edit to decrease the growth by 1 maybe 1,5%? The mod is otherwise enjoyable. I like what you did with Macedon.

I am wondering if there are any mechanics in this mod to address the squalor problem inherent to the game, or if it matches vanilla in being broken in this regard? I am about to start first campaign as Bactria, if I don't receive answer I'll report back with my opinion on the squalor issue.

Hey I'm loving the mod so far, it's been a lot of fun as Macedon. My only problems or suggestions would be:

Why is the Seleucids eastern? Just feels a bit off, Not having the greek family cards, I know that a lot of their population would be eastern but still. It's only a small thing I suppose. Also the Seleucids seem to be a huge power house, as they should be but I think they need to be put in place.

Egypt should have Ptolemaic units and stuff like that, better for historical accuracy. Also they seem kinda weak compared to their main rival which is the Seleucids, I could be wrong. I just don't want them to die every game.

My last point would be that units are too cheap and their upkeep should be balanced a lot better. I think for Macedon for regular Hoplites their upkeep is like 85$ which is I think far too low, they are a decent unit having like 7 attack and 16 defense.

Thanks for the mod and I'm having a blast so far! It's pretty awesome to play this and keep the vanilla feel.

Beuatiful mod, however my only concern is that pop growth is a bit out of hand where I find settlements like little Ariminum growing at 6-8% per turn (without farm upgrades), which makes even the mid-mid game a pain in the *** when it is about controlling population and squalor, one can´t keep up with constructing building to increase happiness before I have to expand the city further, which makes more pop growth in cities and then deal with revolts and full on rebellion late-mid game.
