i can't start the application because "missing steam.api dll". I have a disk version. what can I do? thanks
Ok for non steam version you will need to manually install.
Run the mod installer exe but select a new folder not the location of your rome total war game.
Once that is complete go to the folder you created and find RTWE and copy this folder to your Rome total war game folder in your program files.
Now find RTW.exe in your game folder. You cant use the included RTW.exe included with the mod as it requires steam version.
Create a shortcut of your RTW.exe.
Right click the shortcut and go to the properties tab.
Find the "target" field.
At the end of the text in the target field add -mod:RTWE
Make sure to include a space before the -
Run the game using the shortcut.
I cannot find directions anywhere on how to install the enhanced plus version for steam. Could you provide some assistance on this please?

Did you make any changes to the battle AI? Like the biggest problem with Rome 1 and Medieval 2 is the battle AI is really bad, the best exmaple being generals will commit suicide for no reason during battles they're winning. This is fixed in Medieval 2 Kingdoms. I tried DarthMod for Rome 1 and it did not fix this problem unfortunately.
