Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Shockwave actually has a similar feature where Humvees would use regular tires or tracks depending on what map type they're on. Don't expect this to become a ubiquitous feature in ROTR though. It's a little cosmetic touch that will likely be used sparingly depending on the circumstances.

That's a Sukhoi, not a Mikoyan.

Yea but RA2's MiG are also still Boris's bomber strike call special only in ROTR.

So in this case it would be "Sukhois on the way"

---

On an unrelated note, anyone else noted that all the Russian buildible fixed wing planes are Sukhois while all the PLA buildible fixed wing planes are MiGs...

I think there should be a black/grey version for night theaters.

So you would paint certain aircraft black so they can only be used at night? why? seems impractical

Might sound crazy, but stuff like this was actually done.
Albeit, it was during the second world war but let's see: Wiki actually has a specific paragraph for them, though I think that's more the domain of WWII on account of radar. En.wikipedia.org
Even more specific time based paintjobs include pink spitfires. Airsceneuk.org.uk A great thing to go on an evening/morning recon flight.

Then you will have problem distinguishing it from the Berkut.

Not a good idea at all.

This is Huge! Now I know I am going to sound like a spoiled brat right now (which I'm not I am in my early 20's :-P), but you could do this for so many other units! It would be just so wonderful If that were a possibility! Well either way, you guys are awesome!
And give us the update damn it!

But the T50s is a fighter bomber even better than the raptor !!! you can't just keep it as AG

Remember though, the yanks were meant to have overall air superiority in this game. It doesn't matter whether T50s are better are not. It's pretty much like how only Harriers and Raptors have pyrotechnic flares etc even though its pretty much bread and butter for most if not all modern military aircraft.

Description

Here's a little treat that we want to share with you. A few days ago, our modeller Rade created an alternate version of the Sokol in order to highlight its in-game function as a ground attack plane. As a result, we have decided to include two visual variants of the new jet: The blue version that was shown previously will be used on snow maps while the new green/beige version will appear on all other types of terrain.
