A fan for Real life Military equipment ? then this is your mod ! it is a Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge mod that basically imports a lot of RL military hardware from the cold war era in the 60's to the late 2000's while maintaining a lot RA2 aspects like prism, tesla tech and etc. Also, It expands on the original RA2 armor system thanks to ARES in which it creates more roles to create numerous units effectively expanding the complexity of handling an army making it necessary to use mixed arms to counter the various unit types. Also, do note that each country will have some twists in their military equipment that will be more or less similar to their respective RL counterparts. In short: it is a relative to reality fun mod but "a fun mod" is conservative statement.

Yes.

There is also the Grenadier GI and later on I will be adding the Enforcer GI.

So it's like the Ranger from Generals and Reservist Defender from the sadly now defunct Red Alert Paradox mod.

Description

People meet the Assault GI or AGI. Whilst original GIs are more oriented towards defensive roles. The AGI is oriented towards offensive roles.

This GI variant is made to keep up with vehicles in mind; and is slightly faster. Also, the AGI is armed with an M16 assault rifle hence the naming, that said, it strikes a balance between the GI's M60E4 light machine gun (Deployed weapon) and his MAC-9 submachine gun (Undeployed/Mobile weapon).
Though when it comes to garrisoning structures, it is best to use Standard GIs instead since the AGI's will deploy a weaker variant of a garrison weapon. However, the AGI will have a more powerful IFV's modular turret weapon to amplifying his role as an assault infantry.

Lastly, I would like to note that the eastern bloc will have a similar soldier but with a slightly different stats. Both would be costing 200$ (Though I might change that).
