A fan for Real life Military equipment ? then this is your mod ! it is a Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge mod that basically imports a lot of RL military hardware from the cold war era in the 60's to the late 2000's while maintaining a lot RA2 aspects like prism, tesla tech and etc. Also, It expands on the original RA2 armor system thanks to ARES in which it creates more roles to create numerous units effectively expanding the complexity of handling an army making it necessary to use mixed arms to counter the various unit types. Also, do note that each country will have some twists in their military equipment that will be more or less similar to their respective RL counterparts. In short: it is a relative to reality fun mod but "a fun mod" is conservative statement.
The VTOL/A-01 'Senden' Attacker main role is that of a QRF (quick reaction force) meant to support all JSDF ground and marine elements in the shortest possible time. It is also meant to cover Japans isles in terms or patrols and close air support. It is armed with 8 AGM-114 'Hellfire' missile and a M61A1 20mm Vulcan Gatling cannon. This aircraft generally favors speed and firepower over armor.

Though, again I originally had a different design in mind of which a helicopter. But landed on this via anonymous vote, then I told myself to look it at differently since in the end Japan had alot of small islands aside from Honshu (main island), Hokkaido (large northern island) and Kyushu (large southern island).
So, a cross helicopter/jet design model is better than a standard helicopter usually to get to a place as fast as possible acting like a jet aircraft and to loitering to support ground troops acting like as an attack helicopter.
