Welcome to Red Alert 20XX. The aim of this mod is to pay tribute to old Command & Conquer games, while giving YR a fresh feel in a brand new cold war context.
Everywhere in China and its direct sphere of influence, huge airship can be spotted in the skies. They sprout propaganda all day long for regular citizens, boasting the acheivements of the government's military victories, as well as reciting current active laws and production data. But their ever presence is also useful for spying; the Ling Ao's more subtil use is to spot dissidents and criminal from the sky, as well as intercepting communication data. It did not take long before the Chinese Communist Party started converting those "peacekeeping" airship for the war effort.
The Ling Ao, unique to China, replaces the Kirov Airship. It will give the propaganda buff so surrounding friendly units and debuff enemies vehicle's armor. It comes in three variant, depending on the Tier 3 building choosen by the player, just like the Overlord Tank.
1. The Propaganda variant, available with the Bureau of Propaganda, has a greater range for its propaganda effect and is also faster;
2. The Armored variant, available with the Bureau of Industry, has double the health of the other two variant;
3. The Tesla variant, available with the Bureau of Technology, sports two tesla coil to attack ground targets at close range.
The Ling Ao is directly inspired from Rise of the Reds's Propaganda Airship, as most of you might have spotted. Credits for the voxel goes to Yuri_Prime.
