As said above, this mod tries to bring the early Half-Life 2 concepts and artstyle to the GoldSRC engine.
I decided to use GoldSRC, because I personally think the really old artstyle fits with the overall feeling of the Half-Life engine, just like the really first screenshot, Get Your Free TVs.
Now I know there are already other mods doing something similar, but in this one you'll be seeing an all new original storyline, so you won't see Gordon nor his buddies here.
The Combine, Consul and other beta shenanigans will stay though.
The team is very big, here's a list... No, seriously. I'm the only one working on the project.
I can't script, so this mod relies on "The Spirit of Half-Life" modification and Xash3D.
The good side is that I have loads of free time, so expect new photos coming up next.
I'm also keen to sharing everything to everyone, so expect that the map files can get released. Perhaps even before the release of the main mod!
I also publish my media to my thread made on the Half-Life 2's beta website "hl2-beta.ru", you might see media that won't appear here. So keep your eyes open to both sites.
