Explore a new wing of Aperture Science focused on the creation of Portal Guns.
Play as a scientist working at this research centre, and traverse it's dilapidated remains after an unforeseen accident sends you forward in time.
Go through never before seen tests and try out new technology in order to return to your timeline.
Portal: Singularity Collapse is a mod set in Epsilon Labs.
This part of Aperture Science houses a black hole which brings new technology to the table.
Some might use it for good, and some might use it to create a tear in time and space.
You get to explore other shafts of aperture that were hidden and blocked off for the Astronauts, War Heroes and Olympians..
We’re happy to announce some major strides we have accomplished and talk about the current state of development. And boy do we have something to show you.
Since the last update a lot has changed. Not only in the mapping part of the mod, but also in other ones too.
You probably remember we released two premieres months ago. Well, we’ve been basically re-making the style entirely. We know the videos lacked a lot of skills and overall didn’t look too good. As time passed we can say that these are too outdated to be an appropriate representation for our mod. So we present to you, the new Recycled Aperture!
As you can see these are the exact same chambers as the ones from our second video, without the third Chamber. That’s because we realized the third test doesn’t really teach anything new to the player, and was generally rather confusing.
Our concept artist has been working hard on providing inspiration and a new look to main PSC’s aesthetics. The first concept art shows the outside of the Delta Shaft spheres:
Some time ago we also showcased a poster containing a little sneak peek into our story:
What I can say about it is that we're probably going to reveal more, so stay tuned!
One of our major strides outside of mapping is also the writing of a brand new story which is getting more elaborate day by day thanks to the duo of our talented writers Fajr and Crash. We are trying to expand on Portal 2’s story whilst also showing a different area of the giant aperture facility set in a different time for you to explore.
Another important thing to mention is that we decided to change the mod’s description and I know that this is the third time we do this, but since the story changed a bit, it had to be done. We also thought it wasn’t very appealing to the user reading it.
Now it is your chance to be a part of this project: We are looking for new members to join the team and be a part of something big.
Positions that are currently needed:
Remember that even if you don't fit into these positions we might still need your skills!
It's best if you could do assets in PBR, but it isn't required!
We need your support to continue developing this project, consider applying!
We all from the team would like to thank you all for the fantastic support over the time and also thank you for sticking by our side and we hope that we can bring you more updates about this mod in the future.

When it comes to layout of the ModDB page itself, the ad in the center of the screen is a bit annoying
It's placed there on default by moddb, maybe we could relocate it somewhere else, we're gonna see.
This mod really reminds me of Aperture Salt Mines. Keep up the good work!
This looks awesome!
Thanks!
Oooo it's cool that there's more new portal mods that are in the development! Desolation and more I look forward a lot!
How's going this portal 2 project?
Pretty well, thanks!
The light in some places is very implausible, somewhere there is a lack of sprites. But I think that in the future all this will be fixed ^^
when it released?
We are very early in development and we cannot give an example date.
When thy hath been ready.
