Destroyed Aperture is a free community made modification for Portal 2.

Aperture Science Experimental Facility #7 is empty. Following the failure of the central core, the complex has been consumed by overgrowth and decay. With the exits sealed and communications disabled, David Grayling is trapped, helpless and alone, with no recollection of his past. But when he discovers a teleporter capable of transporting him to other Aperture facilities, he can't help but wonder if salvation lies ahead. Teaming up with a charming personality core named Neado, David steps through the teleporter into the unknown. What dark secrets will he find on the other side? Is he destined to die amid the ruins of Aperture, or can he find a way to escape? Will he ever regain his memories and discover the truth?

I found this on their discord. I don’t know why they didn’t post this or anything similar on here themselves but here you go for all the fans wondering what’s up.

“It has indeed been a while since the last post/update, however, the development has not halted. The start of this year especially was a busy time IRL.

In terms of progress, there was ongoing work on the levels and puzzles, which are pretty much completed (*apart from story important areas and scenes, which are entering the process of being planned out and sketched*), the main focus point of the development at the moment is story-related (*currently the story itself - then scripts, voice lines, and the like*). There are still a few things in the story itself left to fill out and get it 100% wrapped up before carrying on with the rest that relies on the story to be complete, it went through a huge change back when we did plan B and that's also what hugely prolonged the development (*and now we believe that's actually a good thing, because the overall concept is much better and interesting*).

Stay tuned, because finally after that there will definitely be something very big and intriguing to show, that's for sure!”

Progress takes time. Don't expect updates every single month.

Believe me, I did that myself, and disappointed myself numerous times.
