Perfected Doom 3 was started as a simple tweak mod years ago. After realizing that I was still not happy with Doom 3 after making some alterations to weapons and enemy stats I continued to add more to the game. Now Perfected Doom 3 is more then just a tweak mod. It attempts to completely overhaul the entire game with new monsters, rebalanced weapons, rebalanced monster stats, better graphics, new gameplay features and much more. It has been met with great appreciation and acclaim by it's users. This mod will bring many improvements to standard Doom 3 and it's Resurrection of Evil expansion.

Description

This zip file contains another set of patches for both versions of PD3. It contains many small fixes and also adds a bit to some of the features already in PD3. It is an update to the previous 7.0.1 patch that accidentally removed the ROE logos and effects from the main menu for PD3 ROE. Nothing else was added to either version of PD3. This is just a quick fix.

Dude, idk what you did but something has seriously ****** up the windows man. Worked fine in vanilla v7, but now they're just this insane misaligned funhouse mirror.

I've done nothing to the windows. Have they been like that with out the patch? As these new GPU's get updated more and more graphical glitches can be expected. Like with the plasmagun liquid thrower bug. I never had that bug until I upgraded from a GTX960 to a GTX1080ti. The only way I could fix that was by removing one of the effects from the liquid splashing on the floor. Nothing has been done to the windows at all for many versions of PD3.

Yeah sorry for assuming you screwed it up. Upon revisiting the windows are bugged out even without the patch. I'm not sure what I changed since I first got v7 but the patch isn't the problem.

I did try going into the menus and turning off all the effects one by one to find the problem but nothing seems to be fixing it.

If he is. Rename "Doom3.exe" to "Doom 3.exe" ine spaece works miracles (disables some outdated optimizations for Doom3 never removed from ati drivers).

Is it just me, or are the PDF videos in Resurrection of Evil always blank?

Hey, i've found a bug lately, I downloaded the zip file and in the doom 3 folder i made a folder called ''perfected doom'' with the apk's from the zip there and after launching doom 3 i'd check the mods, i selected perfected doom but the game closes itself, any help?

You're not supposed to make any folder. The Perfected folder should already be in the zip. Just unpack it to your main Doom 3 folder. And this doesn't have anything to do with this patch. Please post comments regarding the primary PD3 mod files in the proper section.
