Large Address Aware Patched EXEs (And Black Object Fix)
PatchPatched Large Address Aware EXE files for all 3 games.
This mod includes upscaled textures for Penumbra: Overture, Black Plague, and Requiem. Please read the individual file descriptions for information on how to apply the mods.
Recommendations:
All system requirements are unchanged, apart from video memory. Would recommend the following:
Overture: 3GB minimum, 4GB recommended
Black Plague / Requiem: 4GB minimum, 6GB recommended
If you have a bug caused by the game loading objects as untextured black blocks, that is caused by issues with the game's memory management on systems with higher core count CPUs. If you encounter this problem, check out the Large Address Aware fix.

I know this might be asking a lot but, is there ever a chance you could go further with enhancements to the visuals and tackle the models themselves of the games?

I have posted a fix for the issue with objects loading as black, untextured boxes. Please check it out if you have this problem.
Even if you don't, the patched EXE files will offer a performance benefit.

The best QoL improvement would be porting the game to the HPL2 engine.

I'm sorry that I didn't answer the comment you previously left, I didn't get a notification for whatever reason. I have tried upscaling UI elements and inventory items, but unfortunately as the resolution of the originals is so low, the upscaler has little information to work with and as a result they came out often looking worse than the original files, so I elected to leave most of them as is.
No problem and yeah that makes sense.
Just played through Penumbra: Overture. Looked great.
I know you say that the Menu/Inventory is not upscaled in any of the games. I think it would add to the experience myself if they were. That is assuming that they can be upscaled.
