Penumbra: Overture Texture Upscale Mod file

This mod includes upscaled textures for Penumbra: Overture. All environmental, model, and item textures have been upscaled. Upscaling significantly increases the size of the textures and as a result makes them consume more memory. At least 3GB of video memory is recommended to use this mod on the base game without stuttering.

No additional modifications to game files are needed.

1: Open \Penumbra Overture\redist\ and back up the contents of\config, \models and \textures

2: Extract the contents of this archive to your Penumbra Overture\redist folder, and overwrite the original textures when asked

3: Play the game and enjoy

Known Issues:

Very occasionally some models or skyboxes will load fully white, or fully black after a level transition. This isn't a problem with the mod, but a limitation of the game engine. If it happens save the game, quit, then reload it and things will load as normal.
