Hi all! I just spoke to Jan from Czech Republic. He enlightened me that you await 1.00 release of Paradigm Worlds. I really hoped that I will be able to make it faster, but it will come. I can tell you the same I told him a few minutes ago.

I am at the stage of preparing documentation. No more programming, or testing. This is last thing to do, prepare credits of 3rd party authors. I would say I am at 99,8%. In days - two, maybe three.

I am not gonna shit you, old bugs could not be entirely removed and there are some minor new ones. But I offer you working FACTION EDITOR. Titles of lords may not change properly. That is price for now.

What took me so long? Hey, Talewords didn't even announced date of Bannerlords. Joking. More or less.

- FACTION DESIGNER!

yes it works. U can change and edit every main faction, change its lords race, and even its villagers race. You can also edit troops. Yes, if you want to create a faction of technomages - it is possible. As a fact I made a scenario specially for you, that has technomages race already set up. To keep the balance weekly amount of troops was revamped for each faction. Also, be warned - wages too.

What is more important I have managed to make new troops spawn in villages, however please wait around a week (game time of course) to see changes.

I suppose that with that tool you can create any scenario you want.

There is a new menu in game, called Faction EDITOR. Be advised though that if you want to edit your OWN faction, you have meet requirements, eg. proper tools, etc. There is no restriction in changing other factions.

- Option to set walking/running speed. shooter/slasher playstyle!

That gives you option to play classical battles or more quake-like 3rd or 1st person shooter. Of course if you have right arms to shoot. It changes a lot in game cause people/monsters can move faster than most mounts on highest speed setting. However fight is more intense, maybe more arcade, but I would say that typical strategist can choose slow speed and than cavalry and general strategic abilities may become more important.

- New Music thanks to Mr. Huspire

- I cannot than him enough. This mod really needed music, for the background. I not realised that because I like to play Paradigm Worlds with no music at all. However now that changed thanks to His work. Music will match faction territory or specific event. It gives a lot more immersion.

- New Scenario - Ein Volk, Ein Reich!

- I wanted to make a scenario that would seriously change politics of the Paradigm Worlds. And to implement all new changes and upgrades I have prepared for version 1.00.

This is a paradigm of an old story. A story about falling empire. Necrocorp and undeads became rulers of the most world. Rest of the factions is reduced to a single town and a few castles. There is a Roman saying, 'Divide et impera' , Divide and rule. If small duchies will start fighting with themselves Necrocorp has nothing to fear. But if they decide to attack old Necro empire, together they will suc it dry, sooner or later.

Good news - I played that scenario a few times, and each time results of foreign policy were different very much to all factions. You can try and try with different results. You can even edit some factions if you like to make more suitable to your needs.

You can play this scenario to have a really easy life (ally with Necrocorp and crush its weak enemies) or to take extreme risk and rebel against most dangerous and powerful faction. To make things harder I made two new elite PRETORIAN units for Necrocorp. Lords have them in great numbers, keep that in mind when you will have to decide your fate. I played both ways and fighting with Necro is like be on a rebellion side of star wars. Thrilling experience.

- "Guilds" - Unique trading posts

located on the map with 'sort of' bounty hunting mission. There are: Lost Legion Camp (Roman Empire Legionists), Scoia's Partizan Camp and Justice League (Vampire & Pirate Hunters).
What it really is - an option to play Paradigm Worlds as an independent mercenary, maybe a bandit. Guilds and bases offer unique services and weapons. You can hire Scoiatael warriors, or simple legionist. But more, you can hire also elite units. If you are a member of a guild of course.

You can treat membership as an investment. Guilds will pay you for head of their sworn enemies - Justice League will pay for vampires head, and scoias will gladly pay for an orc or uruk head.

This comes at a price. You cannot work for any faction as a mercenary, and of course you cannot belong to any faction at all. However you can sell prisoners to guilds without loosing honour. That is a huge advantage in return.Guilds mainly deal only with free man. Some of their services stay available even when you join faction or start your own. That depends on guild.

So gear up before joining a faction or try to play a role of renegade, outlaw or rebel-for-ever.

- New tournament system

(working, not entirely tested, some weapons are very uneven). Yes that was one of lost puzzles needed to call Paradigm Worlds mod as complete. Now tournaments are fight and a carnivale in one. Bizzare traditional weapons, strange creatures, good old same rules. Weapons are uneven, so you can end first round because you had weak weapon. On the other hand stakes on bets are higher, so you get better prize.

- New graphics UI

for party / inventory / character screens - more technological / wasteland.
I tried to add as little new units and items as possible. Loading times are high, and for some players game would become unplayable. I think that we had enough chaos with . So that leads us to another feature:

- Simplification,

no more dozylions of faction troops (Renaissance, Fantasy)

- QUESTS

I wanted them to matter again. Now doing quest (for lords and such) will give you double bonus. You wanted a way to stop or slow down Doomsday Clock. Here you go. Do quests.
- you move backwards doomsday clock for doing quests, and forwards when failing
- all vanilla quest have better rewards. Now being helpful may be very profitable.

- NEW COMPANIONS

- I removed some companions and added new ones. Some of them use powerful weapons or magic and will not allow to view their inventory. Some of you stated that equipping each companion takes too much time and I agree. As a compromise you have not editable, well not entirely, companions, but they offer a significant power boost. You can still level them as you want.

You can however bypass that using a cheat, talk to them and choose option to play them, change what you want and speak to them again to play as your character.

That cheat gives you ability to fight battles in your companions skin. Be warned I don't now if it would brake save, or game, I never tested it enough. Surely will not corrupt game if used only for a short time.

You will meet some characters from horror movies, be ready to greet Freddy kruger and a friend with huge machette. There are more you will see yourself.

OWN ORDER-LIkE ELITE CUSTOM TROOPS

If you offer a gold bar to a custom troop member you will promote him or her to an elite troop. Elite/order troops can be equipped with elite weapons and armors, usually available only to companions.

However they die as any other troop, so make them count when you decide to throw them to fight

some more minor changes:
- Now you can change faction's color (Camp menu, Internal affairs sub-menu)
- autofire, machine guns, firearms, range weapons - revamped

So, please, have a patience. Two or three days more and it will be released!
