OLR 3.0 + WIP English translation:

Keep in mind 3.0 is a beta test release and far from perfect / polished. Also, the developer is working on a patch that will require starting a new game soon, so if you don't want to start over or don't have tolerance for shortcomings and bugs, version 2.5 is still the way to go.
Thank you :)
3.0?
Look up.
Hey i feel dumb to ask but will it have subtitles or even englisch vocie atcors in the future?
No and no.
Okay tanks for the quick response.
I'm hoping the boring misery type stuff gets patched out of 3.0 soon, save for those things the new version looks pretty good.
Yeah, it's totally put me off playing it. Sucks that the mod's starting to get so bloated and deviate from its original vision.
I really, truly hope that we can get a proper English translation to this one. Seems like it won't. Sorta surprised since 2.5 been shared here.
It's been barely four days since the mod got released, what did you expect? Give it some time.
The reason I'm assuming this may not get a proper translation is because they never kept this page up to date or any news on a release of 3.0 since 2.5. This leads me to think that it will not be shared here this time around.....hope Im wrong.
Look at Dead Air 1.0. At least we are confident it will be released with an English translation since they have given us news on it. This Oblivion Lost seems to be neglected here.
Again, this isn't anything surprising. 99% of STALKER mods will not have official translations and 90% of them will not have ModDB pages. Nearly the entire modding community, as in people who actually develop modifications, is Russian. They have their own tightly-knit communities and will rarely advertise their work elsewhere, let alone create official translations for Western players.
The ModDB page of OLR neglecting giving you news about a translation is expected because the page itself is an afterthought. Compare this with its AP-PRO or VK page and you'll notice it easily. If you're expecting a translation because True STALKER got an official one, don't, because that was a one in a million thing.
I have made a quick, decent translation, but you will not get a super duper perfect OLR 3.0 translation for a long while. The developer doesn't make the translation for his mod and has little interest in doing so. You will have to rely on someone taking the initiative and putting in all that work, which is unlikely in itself.
